"<br /> <br /> <br /> The covering was beautiful. They used stone with epoxy glue and put it on with trowels. It was a beautiful looking job when they got it done. However, after one year it started to get blemishes on it. We have a 10year material, 5year Labor and service warranty on it so they came out and tried to recoat it but it only made it worse. When I called them to come back out they told me they couldn't come out until June 12 then they pushed it back to July 09. It has been a full year before they could come back out and correct it. I lost 3 years on my warranty before they could come out and do something.  Now I have a beautiful looking deck with blemishes in it. They can't even tell me what's wrong with it. They tell me they are going to come out and fix it but they never do. <br /> <br /> Response to Nature Stone <br /> Your confused ?   Well I'm not <br /> According to my records . I have the right dates, names, phone numbers & pictures <br /> #1 Yes the deck was done Aug 2010 <br /> #2 Didn't hear from us until  Aug.2012 ?  <br />    Answer : Wrong: Correct Answer Aug 2011 <br /> #3Visited us in April 2012 to address the real problem? <br />      Answer : <strong>Never</strong> We have been begging for that .  <br />      Aug. 2011 We called . We were told you were booked up & for us to call first of the year . Called <br />      Jan.2012, told me you do not start scheduling until March & promised we would be first on the list.AGAIN <br />      put off until June14,2012.you say you Power washed at no charge as a good will gesture . My copy  <br />     signed by your employee reads customer power washed . He called & asked if he could come the evening      <br />     of June 13, 2012 instead of 14th I told him I power washed  floor in morning & didn't know if it would be dry <br />      said he had dryers when he came he said it was dry & top Coated It I told him it didn't take care of the problem  he said to let dry <br />     for a couple days. Didn't solve the problem.    You contacted us June 12 & Customer Said  they were happy ? WRONG You sent a gentleman out on June 19,2012 to Heat strip &  Recoat, then again I did the Heat pressure the day before & due to rain we agreed to let it go until 2013 & there was NOJOB WAS DONE THAT DAY. <br />    #4  You have not heard back from the customer since? WRONG. I have the order that was signed by your employee  after he called his boss & set the schedule for June 12, 2013 . I called your office on June 11,2013 to tell them it had been raining & could we get it the following Monday June, 17 2013, your office girl told us no they only send people out in this area on Wednesday's . I told her I would like to have it done  before July 4th she said no I only work here So I asked to talk to her boss . Hours later I got that call, and her Boss would not bend to get it done ,He said July 9th, we said come out June 12th & if it rained do it July 9Th, he said if I didn't take the July 9th & it rained June 12th I would be pushed to the end of  July, 2013, so I had to take that date <br /> # 5 Now Nature Stone  responds on June 24th  & said he has  not heard from this customer since 2012.? <br /> Answer: an employee called by phone by the name of Josh to respond about Angie's list  on June 24th 2013 & I thought it was all <br /> resolved & he said July 9th they would be here & get the job done right  1 hour later I get on Angie' list & find all lies the he told. <br /> Customer would love to hear from Owner of This Company <br /> <br /> UP DATE ON NATURE STONE. <br /> On July 9, 2013  Nature Stone sent a gentleman out to address my problem ( White patches all through the floor of my deck ) <br /> He looked it over good and went to work to take care of the problem. I must say he worked very hard to make it right. I was very <br /> pleased when he got done. the deck looked beautiful and all one color. I told him I really appreciated his effort he put into this <br /> and thanked him . He was very well mannered also.  Thank you again,  Charles Bootman  <br /> <br /> <br />"

"This work was done 2 years ago and this review never saved correctly for some reason, but because the guys did good work and it still looks great, I figured I'd try to get this saved. I had half of my basement done with Everstone's composite product to cover some unsightly concrete that was also very uneven (a variance of up to 2" overall). The guys sanded down the ugly, gaping cracks I had and I remember being amazed at how well the concrete looked even at that point. The entire process took about 3 days, mostly to let things settle in between. The final day was just for a finishing coat and only took an hour or so. After 2 years, this floor still looks amazing and I've had no issues with the work or product. I haven't needed any more done since, but I'd certainly call Everstone back for another job. The guys were very upfront about the process, job, and answered every question I had. I knew the general cost before I even saw their estimate, and was happy it just about where I had guessed."

FAQs for concrete floor coating apply projects in Columbia Station, OH

Epoxy flooring is a two-part coating made from synthetic resins and a hardener that bonds to concrete to create a continuous, durable surface. Once cured, the coating resists impacts, moisture, and most household chemicals, making it a practical choice for garages, basements, and workshops. It also creates a uniform, easy-to-clean finish that looks more polished than bare concrete without requiring ongoing waxes or sealers.

With proper care and maintenance, solvent-based and solid residential epoxy flooring can last 10 to 20 years, while water-based epoxy flooring lasts three to five years. Water-based epoxy is less durable, making it more susceptible to regular wear and tear. Commercial epoxy concrete flooring that experiences heavy foot traffic may only last two to three years.

Maintaining epoxy garage floors is relatively easy. You can sweep up dirt and debris with a broom, dustpan, or vacuum cleaner, then use a mild cleaning solution intended for epoxy floors to scrub away stains. Avoid using soap-based or chemical cleaners. Mopping an epoxy garage floor regularly with warm water can do the trick.
