"Henry came and measured for a fireplace / bookcase conversion as well as the addition of a kitchen pantry in some open space. He did a remarkable job stain matching the bookcase to the existing fireplace mantle and crown/baseboard trim, and the craftsmanship was outstanding. He also custom built a pantry with pull outs. He was able to color match our existing grey cabinets perfectly, and he even managed to match the door frame style almost exactly like the existing cabinets. "

"Finished Basements Plus was wonderful from beginning to end! First, they came out quickly for an estimate. I had 4 estimates and theirs was by far the best. (2 of the estimates were more than $20K higher than for the exact same work). Beyond their fair pricing, the work was excellent. They started within 4 weeks. I have an old home, so plumbing and electric were not easy, But they handled it with ease. Tile work for the bar and shower are beautiful. Gorgeous cabinetry. Great carpet and flooring. Best part was that they did it all! No extra work for me. Everything was included, no surprise costs. Picking out selections was easy and quick. Anytime I called Todd with a question, he immediately called me back and took care of any minor issue. Everyone on the crew was kind and respectful. It added so much to our home! He was very communicative and we really felt like he treated the project as if it were his own house. Finally, the owner (James) was terrific to work with. Yes, he's the owner, and yes you expect him to eventually make sure that a quality product is delivered, but he did all of that and more. "We could not be happier with the work Ed Comptom Construction did for us. They performed a complete remodel of our 40 year-old kitchen, front hall, back hall, and half bath. The work involved removing the old kitchen, including the drywall, tile floor, and 1970s era (plumbing containing) soffits that were everywhere. They re-routing plumbing and drains, upgraded electric, replaced a garden window, patio door, front door, storm door, and garage entry door. They installed new drywall on the ceilings, and walls, painted, installed six new interior doors, trim and base boards and new flooring throughout. Ed and his apprentice grandson, Blain, are master craftsmen who pay attention to detail and provide a quality of work that his hard to find today. Ed told us he would treat our home as his own and we found this to be true. They always showed up when they said they would, gave our project their full attention, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves on a daily basis. Our home was always left in as much a functional conition as possible at the end of each day. Given the size of our project, we had few unforseen problems, and for the few that we did Ed always had an efficient solution to solve them. Most, if not all, were encounted and solved before we even got home from work. Their fit and finsh work is excellent. We absolutely would recommend Ed Compton constuction and we will use them again for future projects."
