"My family recently purchased a home that is 10 years old and during the inspection, an issue came up with the safety mechanism that keeps the garage door from closing down on an obstruction (like your car, kid, or pet). I called ABC Garage and the customer service was very thorough in explaining that older models to not have that feature, so she walked me through the various models and pricing in case we wanted to replace the unit. We have young kids, so I knew we'd probably want to go with the upgrade. The day of the service call, the technician arrived promptly and verified that the current system was old enough that it didn't have this safety feature. We discussed the options again (he had all three models in his van) and he installed it promptly. When that was completed, he also showed how the garage door itself could use to be adjusted so it made less noise when opened. I was happy to pay the additional fee to get that resolved. All told, it was a very positive experience - professional, thorough, friendly, and timely. There is a 5-year warranty on the unit and 1-year labor warranty, but I expect this product to last much longer in the future."

"Elite responded promptly to my Angie's List post, and sent out a technician the same day. John, the technician, provided a thorough analysis of what was wrong with my door, and gave me three repair options to choose from. The other 2 companies to give me bids only spoke of the immediate problem with the door, not taking into account that the system operating it was over 20 years old. Had I chosen either of them, my door would have been operational, but because of its age, would no doubt be in need of additional service a few years down the road. While Elite's bid was the highest, I feel confident that I made the best choice in hiring them to repair my garage door. Not only was John professional, polite, and punctual, he very patiently explained the purpose and function of all the new hardware he installed, as well as how to keep the garage door opening and closing smoothly for years to come. "My daughter knew of my terrible experience with my prior company and she had just gotten a new wireless system from 1st Security. She could not stop raving about how wonderful they were and how awesome the system was compared to her old one. OMG, I am sooo happy that she insisted that I have Jeremy from 1st Security come do a presentation and an assessment of my security needs. He was on time, friendly, professional and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Jeremy explained the 1st Security wireless system, showed me samples of the state of the art equipment , how easily it operated and then surveyed my house to determine the most comprehensive protection options for me. He did this very quickly, despite having to climb over furniture and enter tight spaces to place the contacts. I was astounded when after he finished, he sat down and gave me a full tutorial on using the system. He showed me all of it's capabilities, and answered my many questions . I could not believe how much easier and more up to date this security system was to use than my old one. I have had many, many technicians in my home from the prior system, but absolutely none were as knowledgeable, personable, efficient or professional as Larry. He would not leave until I was comfortable, and even then advised me to call if I needed anything or had more questions. He was amazing.!!! A few days after my system was installed, I triggered a false alarm. The monitoring station called right away and did not hang up until assured that all was well. I did not have to wait or try to call them and get put on hold like with my old system. I only wish that I had more houses for them to install their system into, but since I don't, I plan to refer them to everyone that I know. 1st Security is affordable, state of the art and comprehensive. They are honest with no fine print that you have to worry about! I sincerely appreciate Jeremy and Larry and sleep so much better because of them . Thank you 1st Security!!!"

"Mr. Ngana is a very nice and professional. He came the same day I called him (day after a burglary to our home) and spent over 4 hours at our house. Unlike some of the other reviewer experiences, he DID bill my husband for that work ($500 including the Angie's List discount). He told my husband that he needed to get hardware to reinforce the door that was kicked in and made arrangements to come back in the morning (Weds). I wasn't there, but there was apparently a misunderstanding. Mr. Ngana thought my husband was going to call him in the morning to tell him to come, while my husband thought Mr. Ngana said he would come at 10:00. He didn't come, and when he called my husband just before 11:00, my husband told him that he needed to get back to work and couldn't wait. So, they made plans for him to come the next day (Thurs) at 9:00. He actually came at 7:30 instead, which was great! Disappointingly (also unlike other reviews), he charged ANOTHER house call fee, so that bill was $250."

"I thought the price was a bit on the high side, but then I hadn't realized just how much work was involved in such a thing.  The two of them spent some 3 hours removing the old door (which they hauled away) and replacing it.  It is a small bathroom and it's hard to believe the two of them were able to work in there successfully, but they did.  They were very neat and you would think the enclosure was original to the house."

Where to even begin!  I hired another contractor to replace 17 windows and a sliding door.  That contractor abandoned the job after partially installing 7 windows.  I was in a panic!  My house was torn apart, I had windows stacked on my patio, my spouse was not amused and I was turned down by numerous window/door companies.  Then Supreme Window and Door came to my rescue.  They came the day I called to take stock of the situation and while this is something they do not normally do, they agreed to complete the entire job correctly. 

Many thanks to Albert Hoffman of Supreme for his sincere interest in correcting all the problems and his efforts expediting the process.  Albert was in constant contact with the workmen all throughout the process and  kept tabs on issues and progress.

The next morning Eric (sorry, I never did learn his last name) and his helper appeared at my home ready to work.  They looked at the unfinished work, re-measured all the windows and found that every last window the previous contractor purchased was the wrong size, in some instances more than 3" larger than the openings which made a simple job a now more serious situation.  The options amounted to either tearing the window opening down to the studs and reframe or purchase another 17 windows.  Eric and Albert consulted each other and  to save me money the best approach would be to reframe the window openings.  Can you believe it?  More work for them and it saved me a lot of money!  When Eric told me not to worry that it was now their problem not mine, I couldn't believe that standing in my hallway was a young man truly interested in getting the job done and done correctly.  His demeanor, professionalism, and work ethic reflects very well indeed on Supreme.

So now I am sitting in my kitchen, admiring my new windows.  The job took a little longer than they originally expected and I hope helping me in time of need did not ruin any preexisting schedules.  Since completion, Albert and someone named Chris have called me to make sure that I am indeed happy and believe me I AM!

If I had another house that needed windows or doors I wouldn't bother calling anyone else, I already know what company is the best.  In fact I have already recommended them to 2 friends in need of doors and windows.

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."
