"The introductory meeting went very well. The representative, Stephan, was very professional, arrived on time and had a professional appearance. He asked good questions , so to understand the extent of our rodent house mates and wanted to see all areas of the house inside and out. He completed a thorough inspection and educated me with his findings and clearly proposed what his company could do to remove the mice. We signed up and are looking forward to being mouse free!"

"Calvin was who called me back and he said in order for them to come out and give me a service I would have to sign an agreement that I would continue with them for a year. When I asked what happens if I'm not happy with the job, Calvin said it would be no problem to discontinue. Well, I wan't happy with the job, though the tech that came out to service our home was very nice and professional. However, it did not take care of my pest problem so after 2 tries I cancelled. Now they are saying I have to pay a disconnect fee per the agreement. I told them what I was told and all they would say is "I apologize." Clearly this is a rehearsed line that they've told others. I would have to say that this is a dishonest company. Saying what it takes to get the job and then holding you responsible for their poor work. I am a bit cautious to say the least to go with Angies again if this is whom they are recommending."

"The Technicians did good job eradicating the rodents that had nested in the attic and garden areas by sealing holes and making sure no little critters were left or able to get back into the attic. They did their job in a professional manner and even offered a suggestion regarding another potential issue."

"Inspected our house and identified where mouse was getting in. Identified 5 potential areas mouse could be getting in. Paid for the job (4 figures) and 3 out of 5 holes were sealed. Called, left text message, talked to Mark and he said would come back and seal the 2 hole he missed but never did. Also during the sales, we talked about regular pest management, he gave me a quote, and when he sent the agreement the fee was higher than agreed amount. After I responded to his email 9 days past without any response back. My advise, find someone else who can be trusted."

"It is rare to find a company whose commitment matches its billing. Rodent Busters went far beyond what other companies were willing to do. They moved bookshelves, boxes and furniture to assess the entire basement and clean a dusty landscape. They came quickly after an errant critter, likely unable to escape, was found. The members of the team were considerate, gracious and attentive to the specific concerns I had. One dreads dealing with the matter of rodents. This company literally brought joy to the endeavor. I cannot recommend them highly enough. "

FAQs for rodent pest control service projects in Concord, CA

Rodent exclusion seals every gap, vent, and crack that rodents use to sneak inside your home. Most homeowners pay an average of $200 to $600 for this add-on. By blocking entry points, you create a long-term barrier that cuts down on repeat infestations and helps protect both your family and your property.

Pros start with an inspection, then place tamper-resistant bait stations and traps in high-traffic spots. They’ll also seal entry points and clean droppings to reduce health risks. Follow-up visits confirm that the plan worked and that no new rodents have moved in. This step-by-step approach removes the current infestation and helps keep your home rodent-free going forward.

A trained pest-control pro can pinpoint hidden access points using a flashlight, thermal imaging, and plenty of crawl-space sleuthing. During an inspection, the specialist maps every gap, vent, or pipe run that rats use, then explains how to seal each one. This detailed report lets you tackle the weak spots immediately and dramatically lowers the odds of another infestation.

Rodent prevention starts with managing food and entry points. Store pantry items in airtight containers, take out trash promptly, and keep pet food sealed. Outside, trim vegetation and stack firewood away from the house. Inside, seal gaps with steel wool or hardware cloth. A tidy yard and a buttoned-up home give rats and mice few reasons—or routes—to move in.

For wall or attic nests, pros place snap traps or CO2-powered units in the exact runways rats use, then return to remove carcasses and reset as needed. Poison is risky indoors because rats may die in hidden spots, creating odors or health issues, so most technicians avoid it. Once trapping is complete, they’ll seal entry points and clean droppings to finish the job.

Plan on several weeks, especially for larger infestations. Your pro will set traps, return every few days to collect rats, and adjust placement until activity stops. Final visits include sealing access points and sanitizing affected areas. Timelines vary, but most homes are rat-free after two to four follow-ups. Prompt scheduling and good sanitation can shorten the process.
