"We used Travis and his team a few years ago when we put down laminate flooring. We were extremely pleased with the entire process and results, so naturally, when we bought our new home, we wanted to use them again. When it came to picking out the vinyl and carpet, Travis and Nicole were super helpful and extremely patient (trust me, I went through a LOT of samples!). Their pricing can't be beat and everything was ordered and delivered in time for installation. They referred us to John Sullivan to install the flooring and he and his partner Tyson did an amazing job and seriously could not be nicer guys. I'm in LOVE with my new floors! They were on time and respectful of our home and time. Travisreferred us to Jon Rumniz for carpet installation and we were pleased with him and his team as well! They worked quickly and efficiently. Finding dependable guys is so hard these days, so we were extra appreciative at how smoothly and pleasant the entire process went. We can not recommend these guys enough!! Thank you!"

"They were great the first time I had work done with them. A few years ago, I bought tile from them and had the installers put it in the master. I wanted to have my other bath re-tiled this month. Second time has been a complete disappointment. The representative seemed disinterested in the job once she discovered it was just a tiny bathroom. Told me she would call back with more information and never did. I guess they are only interested in large projects. Why would I call back and have them do my entire house, if they don't feel like doing this? A little customer care goes a long way with loyalty. But nope. I'll never buy tile or service from them again. <br />"

"We bought a home in Sun Lakes that had carpeting In the two bedrooms and closets. As an asthma sufferer, I needed to replace the carpeting. Being new to the area, we asked around and selected Floorever Interiors in Chandler, a family-owned business, and selected a wood grain style-ceramic tile. They removed the carpeting and set the tile floor, beautifully. They did everything they promised, on time and on budget. They exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them!"

"These are area rugs that go into their carpet service place for cleaning and then they deliver them back. They're very professional and they're very upfront about their pricing. The price of cleaning the rug is based on its size and they will let you know if they anticipate problems with cleaning the rug. They also let you know how far out it's going to take to get your rug back to you. So it's not an overnight thing. It's at least three weeks and it could be more, depending on how busy they are."

"They went out of their way to pick the carpet up, have it cleaned and returned within a week, considerably quicker than other estimates. The cleaning was excellent, and at a price that beat other estimates."

"Awesome!! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Jeff McFarland and his helper Josh! Our expensive 7 year old carpeting had stretched out over time leaving bumps and wrinkles in every room. Jeff and Josh restretched it and trimmed it all such that It looked like new! They even moved all the furniture as needed included in their quoted price which was HALF as much as our other quote...and that company would NOT move furniture! Jeff is a really nice guy too....fast, hard working and incredibly skilled at what he does!"

"What a great experience we had with Floor Source! From the initial appointment with Jarod for the estimate, to the install, everything was perfect! We went through Costco and Costco uses Floor Source. We also receive a Costco cash card (10% of the total cost of the floors) which is really nice. Our floors are beautiful! The installers did a wonderful job and we would not hesitate to use Floor Source again in the future."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Coolidge, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
