"The quality of work and professionalism was excellent. Approximately 331 sq. ft. of wall-to-wall carpet was cleaned plus 4 steps. Also, a sofa and reclining chair and 3 pillows were cleaned. I would recommend this company and I would hire them again."

"We had Bethlehem Gallery of Floors here to replace wall to wall carpeting in our living room with vinyl wood look flooring and old vinyl in our kitchen with updated tile look vinyl. We are extremely happy with them ! We received a prompt response to our request. An estimate was given . Explanations were given as to what materials would be best for our project and why. Nice selection of materials to choose from. The installers were very courteous, well mannered, hard working and friendly. Very professional crew ! And the finished project is wonderful! I would hire them again and absolutely recommend them to others !"

"Highly recommend G.Talley based on the work done in my home. It looks beautiful and is everything I hoped it would be. From start to finish, Garrett and his employees were very prompt, professional, neat and clean. Even when there was a problem that had nothing to do with the carpet installation, Garrett was able to assist in working on a solution with another contractor to solve the problem. All the 5 star ratings from myself and other happy customers are well deserved!"

"My Dad's had many flooring options to choose from. Connie was extremely helpful. She listened to our concerns and needs and suggested a COREtec floor that we decided to buy. The installers were efficient and kind. My house was treated with respect. Counters, cabinets, and furniture were covered and house was left clean when they left each day. The COREtec floor and carpet turned out beautiful."

"Very nice, but quality was lacking. I knew a seam would be present, but it was placed at the bottom of the stairs. This is the first thing I saw when coming down the stairs. Door was taken off and never put back on. Old padding not removed from closet, new carpeting was placed right over. I know this doesn’t seem like a big deal, but I had water damage. So, I wanted old padding taken out. When done, didn’t bother the sweep the carpet. All the little carpet pieces were left behind. Other installers, always cleaned up after themselves."

"Carpets were approx 3 years old and started to wrinkle a month after we moved in. Chose Stretchmaster based on excellent Angi reviews. I called to schedule on a Wednesday and Jeff and Adam were able to come the next day (after working hours to accommodate my schedule). They were in and out in an hour, it was all very impressive. They demo'd their invention and barely had to move any furniture. They were neat and organized. Our carpets look great. I will say the price was a little higher than I expected (our rooms are very small), but, the lifetime stretch warranty made it worth it and it was a no brainer to have them complete the job. No regrets!"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Coopersburg, PA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
