"The equipment was delivered promptly, and the installers arrived shortly after. Chris Hardin and Anthony were the installers. They were very experienced, well trained, knowledgeable, and did top quality work. Both were polite, personable, and treated me with respect. I tend to be a perfectionist and must say if I would have had the skills to do this job myself, I could not have done any better. I have never seen such good quality for any heating and air conditioner replacement in other homes I have owned. In addition to replacing the furnace and air conditioner units, some other items that were replaced were: suction and liquid lines, the exterior breaker box, condenser pad, furnace vent, insert in the vent going up the chimney, and the condensation pump and hose. The old furnace was situated such that there was not much room to change the air filter and perform maintenance. The new furnace was repositioned to eliminate that problem. This involved rerouting the electrical cable to the furnace switch and partially extending the gas line. My previous coil was never a tight fit over the furnace and therefore, cool and warm air escaped. Special care was taken to tightly mount the new coil and thoroughly seal it with silicone. Some insulation was even used around ducts nearby. All the old equipment, including the condenser pad, was hauled away. The work area was cleaned up well after completion."

"<p>2/16/15   Arrived promptly the 1st day.  Could not locate the septic tank by digging with a shovel.  Attempted location for about an hour.  Contacted  a backhoe operator he worked with on jobs too big for shovels, to dig out the septic tank.  Backhoe operator could not come until 2 days later.  Appt. rescheduled.  Backhoe operator arrived on 2/18/15.  Dug up multiple sites, as I had no idea where septic tank was,  found tank after several attempts.  Contacted Grant Co. Septic after tank was located.  They came promptly and evacuated the septic tank.   They were very friendly, helpful,  and went above and beyond to help me during a stressful time.  I will definitely contact them again for my septic service.  Couldn't ask for more helpful people, willing to put in the extra time and trouble to help their customers out. They treat their customers like people not numbers.   They definitely deserve their excellent rating!!!  </p> <br />"

"Awesome. Call the day after Thanksgiving, at 7:30am, they were here by 9. Cleaned out the sewer, very nice technician. Unfortunately, they did not get it all out so I called again a few days later and they showed up within the hour and got it right! From Tonya who is in the office to the technician everyone was so professional and polite. Would use again in a heart beat!"

"Went Great! Those guys were very engaged in what they were going. That is not a fun job so my suggestion is when you have work like this done give them a good tip. From what I understand one (or two) of the crew members were son(s) of the owner. They did most of the work while training with a seasoned trainer. It looks to me that this family business will be around a long time! Great Job!"

"Went well with water only being shut off for a short period of time during installation of new plumbing. Due to some modifications and some miscommunications, took 2 days to be completed. Great people! I would hire again!"

"It went very well! Tim came to the apartment and looked at the issue. He told me that he will place the order for the new and more efficient unit than the old boiler and install asap. Tim's crew came the following Monday to demolish the old boiler and installed the new boiler on the same day. The new boiler was up and running on the same day. It was a smooth startup!"

"Max was exceptional and went above and beyond. He went out of his way to determine the best place for the installation of the tankless water heater and not what would have been the easiest installation for him. He is a very hard worker, very pleasant and knowledgeable. He answered all questions. We had Arlinnghaus previously install new furnace, air conditioner and humidifier. All of their employees have been very pleasant and professional."

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Corinth, KY

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
