"We recently had our siding done by Gunner Roofing and can’t say enough good things. We had our consultation with Andrew and he was honest, not pushy, and even enthusiastic about the project. He was patient and answered multiple rounds of questions to make us feel as comfortable and secure as possible. When we decided to give the siding project to them, they worked with us step by step. We received line item details, mock ups, and were even able to get their own personal/professional input on decisions. Andrew and Joe Massari went over the project with us multiple times to make sure we were comfortable. They stayed professional, reliable, and communicative during the whole process. Our Project Manager, Conor, kept open lines of communication and was honest about timelines, materials, etc.; nothing during this project was a surprise. Gabriel and his crew did absolutely amazing work, they were meticulous, precise, and clean. The whole team really took an out of box idea and delivered on it at 100%. "I was installing a new wood stove that required a lot of changes to my existing hearth, stove pipe, etc. I went to a number of retailers of stoves, initially, and did not find the selection of different parts that would seem to work. Ithaca Stove Works had the largest selection I found and were extremely helpful in assisting me to come up with a configuration that would work. I was there about 4 or 5 times in several weeks and spoke with 4 different staff, who were all very professional and helpful. They special ordered a part, put some of the pipe together for me, and answered a ton of questions that others may have scoffed at! These folks are fantastic! And they carry great stoves, too!"

"Matt did a good job. The project was drawn out a little longer than I hoped for but that was mainly due to the weather not cooperating. I was one of the first roofs of the season. I appreciated that he fit me in. The roof looks good. One shingle fell off a few months after the fact and I contacted Matt and within a few days he came out and took care of it. I would recommend this company. The price is middle of the line - maybe a little less than even - and the quality and service is good."

"I found the site over the web and contacted thecompany. From pictures sent via email, they helped me decide on size, and design elements and promptly sent me referrence since they reside outside my area. The item was made, shipped and damaged in transit and they took care of details of returning item to them, dealing wiht the insurance company, correcting the issue, keeping me up to date in the process and remaking the awning and getting it back to me. They supplied detailed instruction to my contractor for installation and were available via phone for consult during the process. I am very pleased."

"We were doing this work through the demands of our home insurance company and so needed to have it done in the winter, even though winter is not a good time to have any kind of patch put on the chimney. We got estimates from several contractors, both individuals and companies and felt that the explanation and price offered by Jeffery Kells with Hearth and Home was reasonable and his willingness and availability to do the work promptly sealed the deal. The quality of the work and the punctuality and courtesy with which it was performed were very good. <br /> My only complaints are with Hearth and Home the company, rather than the people who completed the work. Firstly, Hearth and Home charged us $108 for a visit that I thought was just an estimate. This is not good. If you are going to charge clients for a visit, that should be clear at the time the appointment is made, not after the fact. Secondly, after charging us, we did not hear back from Hearth and Home until WE called them asking for the estimate for the work. <br /> But, as I mentioned, these complaints have to do with the business end of things with Hearth and Home. I would recommend Jeffery Kells as a contractor without hesitation. <br />"

He maintains the lawn weekly & does a great job with the lines in the grass & blows off the sidewalk & driveway for us as well! They also installed new carpet in the family room in the basement, installed porch railings on the front porch, painting the interior of the house for us with great ideas on colors & products especially with an allergy dog, he was very considerate of the smell & made sure all my dogs needs were addressed with the painting in the house. We also had the kitchen & laundry room ceramic tile completed by ABG Contracting, it turned out great! We are in love with it still! I look forward to having him complete our kitchen addition & roof in the spring! The designs for the landscaping exceeded my expectations & The guys were extremely polite, thorough and professional! I'd use them again in a heartbeat!! "I got some painting and fixture jobs for my home done by Steve's painting around 4 years ago. Their prices are reasonable. I paid them and I thought the work is on but it was not. Also, they fixed something and nailed down but I had to go behind them and thought I could have done better myself. Overall, my experience was not good and will not use them again in the future. I never really wanted them to come back later."
