He uses quality Owens Corning architectural shingles and other materials are upgrades as well. There are no short cuts. The roofers replaced certain sections of wood that were improperly nailed by the prior company. Our roof is solid and aesthetically pleasing - a real improvement to the overall curb appeal of the house. Besides the quality work Fred’s company provides, expect some excellent customer service. Fred called us multiple times - to update on orders, schedules, arrival times, etc. He picks up the phone or shortly calls back. That’s comforting when you have engaged a company for a big ticket project. He made good on every single thing we discussed. The clean up was amazing with landscaping and lawn protected by tarps. The men use a “magnet on a pole” to pick up stray nails on the ground. I highly endorse Preferred Roofing for a worry free roofing project."

He designed the job to best serve our needs, which included eliminating our old vents and installing a more efficient ridge vent system. He kept me informed as to timeline and, once on the job, the guys were efficient, took care to protect our property, and did a phenomenal job on the roofs. There was one small issue on a drip guard, and they came back and re-did it to make sure that we were 100% happy with the job - and we are. "Job went excellently, the crew came, set-up scaffolding, completed the demolition and poured a new cap. Our chimney is big and it was high too, and on a steep roof angle, but they know how to navigate this. They added the proper concrete board, smoothed everything out, and put the lip that was needed onto the chimney as well. They ensured that everything was left clean and tidy too. Excellent, professional job, with very knowledgeable team and leadership! The cost was very reasonable too. Some companies wanted double...and I am so glad I found them!"

"It went amazingly well.  They started on the day after the "big game", and did all the shoveling to access the roof and set up the scaffolding.  Brian the foreman and his crew were really polite and pleasant to work with.  Yvonne was the contact person in the office and was always available to answer my questions and address my concerns.  They really did a fabulous job cleaning up at the end of the day and at the end of the job itself, which took a couple of weeks.  It takes a while to take the tiles off the roof and keep them in order as is necessary to replace them properly.  Renaissance had a "port-o-potty" delivered while the work was being done , and that also made a good impression on me , as it's more considerate and sanitary than what I've seen happen with other contractors , if you know what I mean.   Both my husband and I were very impressed with their service and workmanship.  They had to modify some of the downspouts to drain properly and the welding is lovely.  <br /> I would recommend them to anyone with a roof that needs work, but especially those that have unusual slate or tile roofing. <br />"
