Though when I let Carlos know our concerns he was there the very next day to clean up and inspect the job. Carlos is very attentive and approachable. "The Project Manager was excellent in working around the holidays, December 2025 rainstorms and crew availability to repair my November 2025 roof leak and interior wall damage however, two issues of concern were not resolved, i.e., despite the contract stating that "Painting all vents to match the roof", a vent was not painted because they claimed that referred only to any "new" vents installed, and there are 1/2"-1" gaps between some of the reinstalled tiles. Both issues were emailed to the company and discussed with the Project Manager but not resolved. "

"I was looking into replacing my 20+ yrs tile roof to the Tesla solar roof but after months of waiting (I pre-ordered the solar roof and it was stuck at the design phase), Tesla told me that they no longer serve my area and refunded me the money. As I was looking for an alternative, I came across GAF's solar shingles and I was very interested in them. Guardian Roofs is GAF's certified installer in SoCal area. Larry from Guardian Roofs reached out to me within a day after I filled out the "Request for a Quote" form on GAF's website. Told me about their company and we chatted about my needs for the new roof and solar system. Within the next few days, he sent me a proposal, explained every single detail to me carefully and patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. He truly enjoy working with Larry because he would find out the answers for any questions he wasn't able to answer on the call and actually called me back and explained them to me thoroughly. I called/emailed six roofing companies/contractors, only four responded within the first week with a quote. The quote from Guardian Roofs was the second lowest (cheaper than Tesla's solar roof). The other three quotes were traditional solar panels and reroof using the existing tiles. I quickly decided to go Guardian Roof's quote not only it's much cheaper than Tesla's solar roof, but their panels also looked much nicer than the traditional ones. My only concern was that without the space between the rack and roof, how would the heat generated by the panels being released? I asked Larry this question and he explained to me but I didn't quite understand, so I asked the owner, Justin, the same question during the installation and he explained to me by showing me the actual products. Turned out the combination of the underlaying sheet, GAF's Timberline Shingles and the actual panels were playing a big part in handling the heat. The installation took a week to complete. I'm very pleased that the owner himself actually came out a couple of days and climbed on the roof to make sure everything was done correctly. He was also there to answer all of my questions about the job. Additionally, GAF sent a technician from the San Jose headquarter to oversee the installation of the panels. Not the mention William (the lead installer from Guardian Roofs) and his crew did a great job cleaning up the area after the job was completed."

"These guys are EXCELLENT and I HIGHLY recommend them! We had a couple roof tile come loose and fall off from the top A-frame in the front of our two story house, so I went to Angi.com and put in a request for local roofing companies that do repairs. American Superior Roofing Co. in Santa Ana called me within an hour. I explained that I was concerned more tiles would fall and that it could potentially harm someone or something around the exterior of my house, so they sent out one of their inspectors that day. From the thorough inspection, and explanation of what he found, to the installation team coming out within two days to do all of the work that was required (I had over 20 broken tiles that needed to be replaced), which included concrete sealing around all the gables, sealing around both fireplaces and all vents, replacing all the broken tiles, re-nailing all corner tiles around the entire perimeter of my roof to ensure everything was now secure, etc. I couldn't be happier with the money I paid for the job they did! Huge shout out to Tony who worked tirelessly to make sure everything was done perfectly!"
