"Our kitchen drain was slow for months and finally backed up completely.  I snaked the drain 25', but still wasnt improving, so I called Shorty based on a family reccomendation.  He promptly showed up the next day and went to work. <br /> I had already prepped the stack cleanout and gotten some junk towels out, and he brought in a huge professional snake, and within 15min had cleared out over 50' of drain line.  He was happy to give some tips on how to keep it from happening again (if you need to run your disposer, throw it in the trash instead). <br /> Pulling the 50' snake out of the drain left a mess that could have been cleaned up (or protected against) a little better, but, frankly, the drain was clear, and  cleanup only took me 15min, so it wasnt too bad. <br /> I would gladly recommend and/or rehire him in the future, but maybe get ahold of a few more junk towels/drop cloths beforehand. <br /> <br />"

"We had used Blands in October to clean the sewer line from the house to the main.  They were fast and courteous and reasonable ($150).  Stu is quiet, polite and extremely competent.  Unfortunately, after a heavy deluge the sewer backed up and spilled over the vent by the main sewer line (we live in a 100 year-old home) in January.  We called Blands, who responded immediately, re-roted the line, ran a camera down the line, found the problem, gave us a bid for everything and returned as soon as the weather permitted (within a week or so) to dig up the portion of the line affected and replace it, adding a back flow preventer to the new vent they installed.  They were done within 4 hours and on their way and we were thrilled. <br> <br> <br>Bill and Stu were great to work with and have become our "sewer guys"!"
