They are a busy team of workers who kept us appraised of their availability for the various stages of our restoration. For the repairs that they didn't do themselves they had excellent recommendations for the professionals we needed such as the carpet installation, closet system installation, kitchen cabinets and the refinishing of our hardwood floors. They seem to be in demand, working at several projects at the same time but we always felt that we were their top priority. "I had received and initial bid from Lockwood Decorating almost 8-10 months prior to the start of my job. When I was finally ready for them to start, they kept the same pricing from almost a year ago which allowed me to expand my work to include the whole interior. They Painted each day with anywhere between 2-4 painters. They arrived promptly at 7:30am and worked until usually 3:30pm buy sometimes later. They were great about cleaning up each day. If I was unhappy with something or wanted something redone, they did it with no problem. Their attitudes were great, pleasant, fun, respectful and all that rolled in a complete air of professionalism. Rob came out several times to oversee the job, but it was never necessary. Nick, Greg, Jake & Christian are awesome guys (and Rob) that are very proud of their work product and it shows. I would gladly hire them again!"

"Sears' package of services allowed me to worry very little because they coordinated all the trades. Sears has a longstanding reputation for standing behind their products, something I had not found to be true with other contractors I had used in the past. Thecarpenter/job coordinator who did the refacing work was wonderful to work with, making minor modifiations as necessary to fit my needs.  I had not originally intended to purchase new appliances, but Sears offered me such a great discount that I added a new cooktop, double ovens (which required some cabinet modifications), and a dishwasher, which were installed by the carpenter.  He also coordinated the quartz countertop and flooring installations. All of the work Sears did was well done and professional. After the job was completed, I noticed that a door in the den that had to be cut off to accommodate the new flooring was a bit rough, and they sent the carpenter back to fix it within a week. I was somewhat concerned that I would not like the laminate used to reface the wood cabinets, but it has turned out to be very attractive, more durable than wood, and easy to clean.  No one can even find the seams in the quartz countertop or the Congoleum flooring, so I feel that their workmen are very experienced and skilled. I not only would recommend Sears to others, I would use them again for other work."
