"Ernie Haas provided a very thorough examination of our roof which enabled us (after much back and forth with our roofer (DCF Contracting)) to ensure that all necessary and required repairs were made to our roof. Mr. Haas stayed in contact with us for more than a month to ensure that any questions or issues we had were addressed."

"We had four people recommend him to us. It went really well. They had an entire shake roof off in a couple days, and only took a couple days to get the new cool roof on. (It was rainy season) They used a special roofing that went over our patio, almost like fiberglass material that keeps out rain and weather to protect your patio. We were very pleased with the way thing s were handled with them too. They cleaned up and hauled everything away. It was done in a very reasonable amount of time and the cost was worth it."

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"

"Overall the work performed was good but not excellent.  I must say that the tear off of the existing roof was a complete mess, as expected.  During the tear off process i would have liked them to have cover the A/C unit before, because a lot of the roofing debris had fallen into the unit.  Not to mention that this was a new unit i had installed prior to the roof.  The install of the new roof was to my liking except for a couple trouble areas that I was not pleased with.  The first was the Venting that was installed under the eves around the perimeter of the structure was done very poorly.  Big chunks of the stucco siding was busted off while installing these vents.  I spoke with the main contractor and told him that it was not to my liking and needed to be fixed.  They attempted to fix it by filling the area that was busted off with some kind of filler but while it was drying it was dripping down the wall so the gaps were not filled up.   The Second trouble area was the gaps that was left under the gables on the roof.  Since the previous roofing material was much thicker than the new one that was installed.  A gap between the gable and the lower roof was left therefore when stepping on the roof where the gable is located the roof itself would drop down.  Which caused the metal flashing in the valley located next to the gable to be creased. Each gable has the same issue on the structure.  <br />"

FAQs for metal roofing repair projects in Coulterville, CA

Maintaining your soffit is essential. You must inspect it twice yearly to catch any clear signs of deterioration. Look for cracks, mold, rotted wood, sagging sections, chipped paint, or missing boards. If these issues are detected, contact a professional immediately to repair or replace the damaged soffit and protect your home’s structural integrity.

To maintain your fascia boards and soffits, inspect them regularly to protect your roof and home's structure. Clean your gutters to remove debris and prevent moisture buildup. Repaint any damaged sections to keep moisture at bay. Upgrading drip edges and vents improves airflow and dispels moisture efficiently, helping you avoid severe damage and costly repairs.

While installing a new soffit over an existing soffit isn't common, it may be necessary in some older homes. If removing the original soffit could damage delicate structures, a professional might recommend installing the new soffit without complete removal. Always consult a qualified professional to assess the condition and ensure this method is safe and effective.

When hiring someone for soffit and fascia repair, choose a specialist with proven roofing and gutter systems expertise. A knowledgeable contractor will thoroughly inspect your home and provide a straightforward repair or replacement plan. Check online reviews and ask for references to ensure you receive high-quality service that delivers lasting results and strong protection for your home.
