"Rick was very responsive at first and eager to get started on my bathroom remodel job for one of my apartments. He is commended for having to respond to quote request fast. I decided to give him a chance to do a good job before handing a bigger jobs for my other properties. Before the work started, I emphasized that the dust control and cleanup was very, very important to me. The job involved lots of demolition work inside the apartment - naturally, there will be lots of dust. The apartment is currently occupied and has lots of furniture, computers and audio equipment that I wanted to protect. I thought he and his workers were communicated this request. I even offered the use of dust control fan and Zip Wall to isolate the work area but he said he will be fine without them. Once the job started, I was away for one week to take care of my family. When I returned, I discovered that the door to the adjacent room was left open. That is my office with all the equipment and important papers. They left their construction material and equipment in this room. I was horrified that there are fine dust everywhere - on my printer, computer peripherals, furniture. I brought this issue up with Rick. Nothing happened. The worst part was that the job was declared done and I paid the service in full - They never returned to clean up and pickup the equipment. After almost a whole month, the supply and equipment is still there. I had to spend extra time cleaning up after their mess. Very unprofessional. Lessons learned. Do not pay the balance until all the cleaning is done and all the equipment removed. I expect the clean up and dust control to be a part of the job. I also repeatedly asked or professionally prepared invoices with vendor name and address, job details and the most important of all, the invoice number - all of these essential information is important to keep track of expenses for my projects. The SMS texts message and e-mail messages were not appropriate for this purpose. I explained to Rick that my CPA requires them many times. I even sent him a sample invoice and quote in Microsoft Word template - he never understood what I was asking. He is a nice guy, but not a good project manager or competent business person. The work was done, however, the work quality is fair to good - I had to go back and correct some sloppy work. Lacking attention to details and follow up bothered me. The biggest issues is the lack of clean up and keeping the worksite cleans so he and his crew gets an F. I do not think I will be hiring his company in my future projects."

"It is not everyday you walk in your kitchen and your excited to be there! I mean there s a lot to get done in there...between cooking, cleaning and eating. I can not speak on the amount of compliments we received from family and friends from our kitchen remodel. I wanted a company that could truly exceed my expectations and bring my vision to life. I thought I was asking for a bit too much during the estimate but Jeff reinsured me no question was dumb or a bit too much to ask. Jeff was very responsive, knowledgeable, pleasant and extremely patient. I am already in the process of having the team come out to complete 2 of our 3 bathrooms, basement, and sunroom!!! You know you are truly satisfied with the outcome when you request for the company to bring their yard signs so you can display their work for the neighborhood."

"He hired Tom Harrop to install kitchen cabinets and a heater under the kitchen sink, vinal flooring, plastering in a small area, add ceiling lighting and a shiplap ceiling. Once the work was done I asked Tom to do a walk through and he refused saying he stood behind his empoyees work. Here are the PROs and CONs. PROs: 1.) work was completed in a timely fashion 2) they did a beautiful job on the shiplap ceiling and lighting. CONs: 1) The brand new white cabinets had some nicks requiring paint touch up. 2) Terrible job on the floors! Uneven spots, lengths are uneven at the edges, gaps showing, no finish work. Terrible job!! 3) plastering looks like it wasn't even done! And there is some peeling of paint on the plaster job. Terrible job!!! 4) we were promised and paid for an under the kitchen sink heater which we never received. Called multiple times with no response. Lesson learned, will never use Tom Harrop again!!"

He has a great eye for color, design and other considerations beyond what you might expect from a contractor who isn't an interior designer. "I signed a contract on the first week of June to have PIC Home ?Pros? remodel 3 bathrooms. They stayed for a week in the middle of September, and stopped coming, leaving a vanity in one bathroom, and a shower door in another bathroom completely uninstalled. On the last day here, I was told shower door still has not been manufactured yet, but would take a couple of weeks. They told me that it would cost $150 to have them come back to finish installation, even though contract was for them to complete the work. They ignored my emails to them, so after waiting for 3 weeks and receiving response to my email, I called them, and was told that the shower door is not ready, and even though it?s been 4 months since it was supposed to be ordered, there is still no ETA. I asked that they come back to install the vanity, since we still have no sink in one bathroom. I was told that would cost another $650 to come back and install it. They will work until they are paid in full, then abandon you. "

"I hired him to complete a change over from a tub & shower to a walk-in shower. First, prior to any his work, there was no leaking from either of the floors. He was asked to install 3 corner shelves in the shower area along with installing the sliding shower door. Less than 30 days after he completed the installation of the shelves, they fell from the location he inserted. I had leaking from the shower door which was the result of not properly installing the shower doors which resulting in water correctly. The shower door were not level and plumb which resulted in water leaking on the floor which leaked to the 2nd floor bathroom ceiling. I also have the same problem from that the 2nd floor shower dripping between floor dripping water down to the 1st floor ceiling. He used shark bite fittings which were not properly connected which I had to cut into the opposite shower wall to find the leaks and have the joints properly installed to correct the water leaks. The problem was he didn?t "

"Clement and his team painted my living room, bathroom and kitchen. They were consummate professionals who took pride in their work. Clement went above and beyond by fixing small repairs and making suggestions. They removed furniture and wall hanging and put them back after the paint had dried. I would recommend them without hesitation and will use them again."
