"We couldn't be happier with the work that Shawn did for us. We initially had him replace our deck. Since we have an 18 month old, I asked him to add a gate at the steps leading to the yard. We can let our son play without worrying. The deck is right off the kitchen, so we open the sliding glass door close the screen. Now we can can cook or clean and let him play. The second job Shawn did was replace the original 100 year old windows ok n the main floor. Since the outside of the old windows had lead base paint, and most did operate correctly, we felt like we need to replace instead or restore. The work was excellent on both jobs. We highly recommend and plan on hiring Shawn again for the second story windows."

"They send over a small army of guys with riding mowers and edgers and blowers who do our yard in no time. Blink and they're gone. Strongpoints are really reasonable pricing and dependability. I also like it that they are in and out quickly. Also very responsive to any issues via email exchange. I had a problem the first time they mowed with deep cut ridges in part of the lawn; the owner came out immediately, agreed it was awful and shouldn't have happened, figured out what the problem was (they had a flat tire on one of the mowers and didn't realize it until the damage was done to a segment of our yard). They apologized profusely and said it would never happen again; they've been fine ever since. They also provide fertilization and weed treatments for our yard periodically. <br />"

"They were great. Bruce was great at understanding my request (it was just a general idea and I just told him I just want it to look good) and even made some suggestions that brought it up a notch. They were friendly and made sure we approved of what they were doing during the process and were quick to make changes if we didn't like it. They even came back to fix an area we were not happy with. We have received several compliments on how well it looks. I would definitely come back to them for future improvements."

"Absolutely love the job they did. He was able to take the vision I had in my head and place it in my yard. Also, a couple years later, a person driving a car crashed thru our fence & landed in our backyard. I contacted Radik to have them come out to check to make sure everything was ok as a capstone was dislodged & landed in the middle of the backyard. They came out and everything was stable/intact and they placed the capstone where it belonged. FYI - no one was injured in this accident."

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Crete, NE

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
