Ace does not put any treatment on the area to be paved/chip-sealed/etc. so you will have grass growing through your new driveway within a day if you don't treat it. I would also suggest that you ask them to provide a small amount of extra material so that you can address any light coverage areas where heavy traffic may expose base or tar. My driveway was around 200 yards, with a wide parking area near the garage. Since the cars and trucks remain around the garage area, a small amount of extra rock would be good for touching up areas that are exposed when wheels are turned while vehicles are stationary."
