"Right from the estimate I knew I was going to hire High Tech Concrete & Excavation, though I did get other estimates. The work was done quickly, professionally, and all through the process I was able to ask any questions I wanted and get real answers I could understand. They showed up when they said they would, and they were just a pleasure to work with. I originally had planned on a large concrete patio and concrete pad for a shed, but I ended up adding some drainage work and a retaining wall since the prices were so reasonable and the work I saw was excellent. The job was finished today, and everything was cleaned up and all I have to do now is enjoy my new patio. I plan to bring High Tech back for some additional work. Iâ ve never had a more pleasant experience hiring a contractor."

After they were finished and paid, I noticed a slight area that needed fixing..... they immediately came back and corrected it. Would definitely recommend them"

"The gentleman who came to my home were absolutely great! Explained everything and made sure I was happy with the work every step of the way. I was nervous in the beginning but my fear subsided after Robert Charlesworth, Marcelo largo, Isaiah belcher and Johnathon Lopez made for a great experience. The attention to detail and dust control, tapping off areas they felt I wouldn’t want getting dusty exceeded my expectations! Thank you for your hard work and kindness. "Honestly, I have never had such a positive experience with a contractor. they showed up on time, were friendly, polite, courteous, clean and efficient. In a single day they installed the entire system and left the place clean (within reason). This included jack hammering more than 30 feet of concrete floor and complete water ejection. Unbelievable. They will never be the cheap solution, but they are worth it!"

"I am amending my review after subsequent contact with Basement Systems. Ultimately I am satisfied with the work they finally did, Kathy from the office is very sweet and the work done by Dale was ultimately done although there was much confusion since I was never called or emailed to let me know that the work was complete (it is a weekend property and we were not present- which makes it challenging to schedule with providers). I do wish they did a better job with communication since this was the main issue (not hearing from them when they were not able to come for an appt or not hearing that they were coming to do the job!) I will say that despite my frustration, I do think the work was done well, Dale assessed another concern or ours unrelated to this job, and will be coming back to further assess and provide an estimate if need be, and Dale even closed a garage door that was left open by another service provider which was much appreciated. So I certainly would do business with them again and am pleased with the final outcome. But for the sake of completion, below is my original review.   <br /> <br /> Prior review: <br /> Was initially very pleased with prompt initial response and visit from Dale for free estimate. He came on 9/16 as scheduled, was very likable, friendly and informative and spent much of time surveying house and property and providing recommendations as to how to best address leak in basement and buried drainage pipes on the property of our newly purchased home. Was told he would email estimate within week. Dale made such a good impression that I was surprised that I did not receive the estimate within a week. I called 2 weeks later to remind them to provide estimate which should have been my first clue that things would not proceed smoothly. <br /> Had difficulty getting work scheduled which was to be approx 4 hours of labor for 2 men. Not totally their fault as we are weekenders and could only be there for thurs/friday/saturday dates, so I can appreciate that scheduling might be difficult, but still frustrated that work was scheduled for a friday 2 months later. Was called a few hours before appt and told that someone was sick and they could not do job. Was not called back when I asked to reschedule. When I finally reached Kathy who works in the office was told that Dale would come personally the following Monday and do the work himself. Needless to say he never did and I never heard from anyone from the company since then. Wasted nearly 3 months of our time and left at square one. Thanks for nothing. Extremely disappointed with lack of professionalism and surprised that this company has such high ratings."

"At times there were some communication issues, but overall Wilson did a good job and was attentive/repsonsive whenever an issue was raised and brought to his attention. I cannot say that we would hire again..ONLY because this a Board decision and I am not a voting member of the Board. (I answered yes, as this is the only way to submit the review)"
