"This was the best experience I have ever had with anything be doing work on my home. He said he would be here at 8:00 am and he was here at 8:00am. He pressure washed my entire house, pulled all the tiny vine pieces out of my soffits, filled all the cracks and caulked everything, sealed my entire home, painted my gutters,soffits, whole house and trim. Removed and replaced all of my exterior lighting and house numbers as well as my down spouts... I have 3 dogs and he was so careful to make sure they were safe and didn’t get out. He finished earlier Than I expected. He truly cares about you and your expectations and my house looks like a brand new home... I could go on and on with praise. "Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"
