"The entire experience went very smoothly and the Company was a pleasure working with. It became clear early on that they were very knowledgeable and they were very professional through out the whole process. Once the job was scheduled they were always on site when they said they would be and the job was completed according to the initial time table I was given at the beginning of the job. There were 3 separate payments, an initial payment of $1,000 to begin the job, designing the drain field and obtaining the necessary permits with 2 subsequent payments of $1,600. The second payment was due at the beginning of them actually starting work on the drain field with the final payment due at the completion of the job after the County Health Department sign off of the work and then the cover up was accomplished. To make things even easier I was able to make payment with my debit card directly with Southern Water and Soil's office.
I would recommend this company to anyone needing work done to their septic systems from something as simple to a take pump out to an entire new system. A few of years ago I had a different company come out to pump my tank and they to their credit pointed out damage to my septic tank caused by an earlier company who had pumped my tank. When asked if they could repair my tank I was told no, that I would need to have a new tank and a new drain field installed at a cost of over 8.000 dollars. Southern Water and Soil took one look at my tank and said that the damage was minor and easily fixed.
