"EXCELLENT. They were knowledgeable, experienced and professional. Contacted them for a quote for several water leaks in our basement. Sent them a photo and they responded within 24 hours with information and suggested fixes. We asked questions and they provided complete answers explaining the various options. They then provided a quote and we scheduled the day for repairs. The technician, Andrew contacted us 30 minutes before his arrival, which was on time, presented wearing a mask and maintained social distancing. We showed him the work area and he asked a couple of questions then got to work. 3 of the 4 leaks were easily repaired and the fourth was a challenge. He called his office and after several discussions they had a plan B. Several hours later all the leaks had stopped and they provided us with a 10 year warranty form and cleaned up and left. No surprises, no extras the quote agreed to at the start was what we paid. No changes, no hassles. Several days later we had a bad rainstorm and 7 days later that when the water would have flowed into the basement.... NOTHING, our basement is 100% dry. I would highly recommend A-1 to anyone with any kind of basement water leak."

"I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

My appointment was delayed a few days due to circumstances beyond their control, and they worked with me to reschedule the work on a day that would work for me. I would definitely hire them again."

He looked at our property, we had some steps that were eroding and we don't need their services at all. He suggested getting a general contractor and rerouting the water away from our house, the drainage. It was good. It was just an estimate, so there wasn't a charge. Since he couldn't see anything that they could do, then there was no charge. He was very helpful and honest. He was very knowledgeable and I felt he knew what he was talking about. "The work went very well.  We had a few rain delays, but that could not be helped.  Also we were coordinating other work with another contractor (see R and R Concrete) that sometimes caused delays. They showed up when expected, excavated one side of the house and dug holes on the other (walk out basement) for the piers.  When finished the yard was repaired as good as could be expected for St Louis summer. I have a little work to do on it now that it has cooled off. I had to have cracks repaired inside and concrete work done on the outside.  The people they recommended did wonderful work. <br />"
