"Richard and his crew did a fantastic job installing our new roof and replacing 5 skylights. Richard did a great job explaining why the materials and processes that he uses would lead to a long lasting roof. When our first choice of shingle / color was not available he was able to come up with a more than suitable replacement. I think we got great value for the cost."

"I hired this company for roof repair and they did an excellent job. They were easy to contact before the project and they arrived on time and completed the work earlier than I thought. I got photos before and after the job which I appreciated."

"The B & R team was a pleasure to work with through the whole process, from quote to paying after the job was done. We had heard water dripping onto a ceiling on our second floor during a heavy storm, and called several roofers for quotes. Five different companies came out, two of which wanted to replace the whole roof, and three that said it should just be repaired. During that process, several of the companies mentioned that our chimney needed repointing as well, so we added that to the job. Robert Jr. came out for B & R on a Monday after I had spoken with them on a Friday, and I had detailed quotes in my email that night for the work. They were quick to respond to questions by email, text, and phone. Once I got them the signed contract, they were in touch within the week to get the work scheduled, and had their mason and roofing team on site two weeks after I had gotten them the contract. A day and a half later, I had a beautifully repointed chimney with a cap, rotted wood around the base of the chimney replaced, perfect flashing, and a roof that no longer leaks at all. The team kept me informed throughout the process, letting me know about any issues they encountered and keeping me posted on their timelines. After they were done, they cleaned up the site completely (and even cleaned up the leaves and sticks that were in the driveway from a recent storm). The final price came in just slightly over the original quote because they had to replace more wood than they were originally expecting around the base of the chimney - it took more materials and more time than what was covered under the original estimate, but only cost a little more than the quote. All in all a great process, and I'd highly recommend Robert Jr. and the team at B & R for any roofing or chimney related work that you need."

"Jonathan swiftly responded to my project request. He came the same day and gave me a fair price to perform the repairs and preventative work. He gave me a date and time he would do the work. And totally unlike other contractors he showed up early and not hours or days late. The work he performed has since held up through two rain events so that is a testament to the quality of his work. He will get first shot at doing my whole roof when the time comes."

"I worked with David to get an estimate after a storm blew some shingles off of my rental property roof. David met with my insurance company and assisted with getting a claim approved for the repairs. The work was completed in a single day, and the new roof looks great. The whole process was nearly effortless on my end once David got involved. I would recommend anyone with roof damage or just looking for reliable workmanship to call them. All of the heavy liftings was on their end. I definitely hope that I do not need another roofing job anytime soon, but if I do there is only one call I will be making David at cedar valley."

"This company did a good job both on site and communications. The roofing quality is great. They worked very hard and got the job done quickly . They worked with my insurance company to save me money. Great service."

"I had a jug of the recommended product, which Mr. Dexter used to spray the entire roof--not just the bad sections. He expertly corrected a downspout position to direct rain into main gutter. Two gutter covers were replaced with white-painted, seasoned wood, which were cut to the proper shapes. A deck board was fastened securely. Mr. Dexter plans to return to inspect his roof work. If additional roof treatment is needed, there will be no additional cost for me. [I had contacted 2 other roofing companies, which were recommended by Angie's List. One company did not respond. A 2d company gave a $930 estimate, which did NOT include spraying the roof for moss/algae.]"

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"Very satisfied with company's strong work ethic. Im happy with my new roof. Highly recommend Help Rebuilding Construction."

"x Dealing with the owner Tom lopatosky was tremendous. He really cares about making his customers happy. No matter when you call him or e-mail  him he makes himself available to you. The crew he sent to do my house acted very professional. They were always on time and put in a full days work.
The only negative thing that I can say about the company ( I told Tom this more then once) was that his prices were a little to high. He did not disagree with me but maintained that he was competative with other companies doing similar work. You will love Tom. You may not like his prices.
I called Tom approx. one year after he painted my home. I had some concerns about some peeling paint. He answered my call immediately and responded to my home within a couple of days. I showed him my concerns and he agreed and sent out a painter to touch up  the area I was concerned about. You can always count on Tom . I have no regrets using his company. I would recommend him
