"During a recent heavy rainstorm, our porch roof started leaking enthusiastically. I found Anthony Mitchell (Tar Star Roofing) through Angi and I’m so glad I did. He was able to come by that very day and inspect the roof. He was very upfront about cost which I appreciated. We were expected another round of rain at the beginning of the following week, so he rearranged things to be able to fit me in just 2 days later. He completed the work within one day. Throughout the process he gave me updates on what he was doing, and explained everything clearly. While inspecting the property Anthony noticed that the railing on our side deck was coming loose, causing a hazard to the cars parked under it. He very kindly secured it for us, and didn’t even charge us. I will definitely hire him for future projects!"

"I hired Long Roofing Products to replace my roof. From the beginning the sales man lied to me, telling me that they could take off my Gutter Helmets and put them back on correctly. This was lie #1. They have null and voided the warranty of my gutter helmets, because they were not supposed to touch them and according to Gutter Helmets all the roofers know this. lie #2 there were missing pieces on the ends of my gutter helmets to prevent the birds from getting into the gutters. The salesman told me they would order the piece from Gutter Helmets and replace it. This was never done. I have contacted them several times and they continue to tell me they will fix it and they never do. I would NEVER recommend them, I would only tell you NOT to use them. They talk a big game but never follow thru with their promise's."

"Very disappointed. We asked for triple pane windows, and someone on their end ordered double pane. Luckily we noticed day of installation, and they had to re-order the proper ones we signed for. Finally the group of installers who came did a horrible job. Trash, insulation, and broken glass on our front lawn. Horribly cut wood trim that we had to redo ourselves. Poor sealing that we need to redo. Our hopper window was misaligned and couldn't close. The hinge arm on our casement window has detached from the channel. Communication is spotty from them, and sometimes we don't get an answer by call or text until we message repeatedly. It took over a year to have our project done from contract signing to end, and there are still issues cropping up. Out of the dozen of contractors we've hired the past year and a half, they have been the most disappointing and for what we paid, the quality of work was truly disappointing."
