"My first project with NMTI0Generation Construction (Tru Blue Construction) is complete; I have signed the contract for another, larger project. When I solicited quotes for my roof replacement (including new gutter installation and the reconstruction of my back steps and landing) I met with Project Manager Juan Carcamo. While every company that bid on my job seemed competent to do the work, I sensed that Juan and his company would be easy to work with. He listened to my concerns and ideas and explained how his company would handle them. Although his was not the lowest bid, I knew this was the best company for this job. I was not wrong! The professionalism of all the employees who worked on this project was amazing. Not only was each individual obviously skilled, they worked together as a very efficient team. There were two change orders to the project. These did not come as a surprise as Juan made sure I was fully informed as the job progressed.One change order was an upgrade in materials for the steps and landing. By the time the old roof had been removed I had decided that I would stay with this companyfor my next job, new siding and windows for the entire house. The second change order was to have the carpenters already on the job installs the rakes prelijminary to the siding job. I've been excited about every aspect of this project so far, but the actual roof installation was amazing! The crew od seven plus a foreman arrived around 7:00 am; before 4:00 they were gone. The job incuded my house (a two-story colonial style structure), a connected one-story sun porch and breezeway, and a one-car garage. They protected everything with sheeting, and they cleaned as they worked. They swept the porch and raked the yard - everything was cleaner after they left than it was when they got there."

"I had an excellent experience with RB Farina's work replacing old wooden gutters and old wooden fascia and soffits with new aluminum gutters and PVC soffit, fascia, and molding on my small house. I must have caught things at a good time, in late winter, because it was just 8 days between my posting my job description on Angies List, and the dumpster leaving my driveway after the work was completed. The original bid was completed at the original price, with some extras (significant touchup painting, and a quick repair on the 2nd story shutter of my neighbor who was kind enough to let us use her yard for ladders) done with no upcharge. I did not seek multiple bids so I cannot say whether the price was high or low; I counted on the fact that the bidder could expect competition. Weather was good for working and we had no ugly surprises from my very old house, so the work went pretty smoothly. I had the pleasant experience of finding that for each of the materials and methods that I either knew about or researched, in every case the Farina team was using top quality. They are good about communication: calls to the office, or by cellphone to the estimator, always were answered live or resulted in callback in a few minutes. The onsite crew was polite, responsive, and very professional. (They also looked like they were enjoying their work, which is always a good sign). The office was very proactive: the written bid arrived quickly, and every check I wrote resulted in an emailed invoice/receipt within a couple hours. For this they are using a platform called HouseCallPro, which automates the workflow considerably. (Why shouldn't buying this kind of services get as good a workflow and email trail as, say, ordering a toaster on the Internet?) . I worked hard to make the jobsite easy to work in (moved stuff away from the house, took down my window screens before they came, ran a wire out the window to provide 20amp electric power, provided a map of where the electricity and water are on outside of house, provided outside access to a bathroom), and the crew was appreciative. Day 1 was demolition, Day 2 was carpentry, Day 3 and 4 were gutter hanging, sealing, and painting. Once they got the gutters up and sealed, they ran the hose into the gutter to check for leaks and flow before they did their final cleanup and left. After watching how they did this work and what materials they used, I have pretty high confidence that their work will last a long time,. I plan to sign up for their annual gutter/roof/chimney maintenance program so that my gutters get cleaned and somebody I trust looks at my roof."

"FRS Roofing won the bid to fix the main slate roof and the 4 rubber porch roofs on my home. Chris from FRS provided the winning estimate after taking a meticulous inspection of the roofs which included identifying the number of slates needed to restore the main roof. He also explained why the rubber roofs installed by a local contractor 20 years ago had prematurely failed. The FRS work crews assigned to our project were all skilled and knowledgeable of their craft. Every crew member possessed a good demeanor and showed respect for our property. Once started, the job was completed without delay as can sometimes occur when a crew is pulled to work on another project. An unforeseen delay did occur when the chimney was being re-flashed. During the bidding process, all visible sides of the chimney appeared to be in fair shape. Once the crew could see the far side of the chimney, they discovered it was completely devoid of mortar. I was shown a photo of this miracle house of cards and immediately authorized a complete rebuild of the chimney which FRS performed at a reasonable additional cost. There were no surprises with the rubber roofs. The original fiber board underlayment which was disintegrating from water damage was replaced with a new material that is impervious to water. Also, the proper rubber was used on the edge strip to prevent it from peeling off as had happened on the old rubber roof. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the job and would not hesitate to use FRS roofing again for any property new or old!"

"After 3 decades of every few years replacing various pieces of rotted wood trim on our house with PVC I decided to take the leap and replace all the wood trim that had the potential to rot all at once. LCT Construction had just done an excellent job replacing my roof and I picked them for the trim work. The salesman James who I worked with was more knowledgeable than all the others I've dealt with, was direct when discussing various options and details, and was committed to doing quality work. It's hard to judge these days, but I think their price was very reasonable. At the beginning of the work James came by and we reviewed exactly what was to be done to make sure there were no misunderstandings. The day before work started they dropped off the material they needed for the job along with a dumpster (with wood under the skids to protect the driveway) for the discarded wood. The workers were here every week day with the exception of 1 rainy day even on days in late November when it was very cold until the job was complete. Each day they started around 8:00 am and didn't leave until it got dark, and they cleaned up before they left. All my interaction with everyone on the crew was friendly and relaxed and we were happy to have them around. On the last day they cleaned everything up and removed the dumpster that evening. Every aspect of their work was excellent. I'm no expert, but I've had a lot of trim repaired over the years and this is the best I've seen. I couldn't ask for better workmanship. During the work they discovered some rot that needed to be repaired. They did it for a reasonable charge, and there was never any attempt to up sell or expand the scope of work. The only negative was that they told me the day before the agreed starting date that they needed to slip by 2 weeks. I wish that hadn't occurred but compared to everything else it's not significant. If I ever need trim or roofing work again I'll definitely contact LTC. They were completely professional and easy to work with, did exactly what they said they'd do with no hassle, and I couldn't ask for a better result. I recommend them without reservation for any roof or trim work."

"The attention to the customer, the explanation of what the work involves and the work plan, and the response to customer followup questions, is excellent. I cannot rate the work quality, since I know nothing about assessing roofing repairs, which also impacts any judgment about value for money as related to quality. But, this company is *very* expensive as compared to others in competition. Providers who charge a lot always claim it is due to superior quality, that is, the quality justifies the price, but laypeople cannot tell if that is accurate and justified or not. For us, this company was too expensive to hire for the remaining work."

"Lifetime Roofing is an outstanding contractor. The work was excellent, the price was fair and their communication was exceptional. After a heavy rainstorm, water was leaking into my house. Paul from Lifetime Roofing got back to me very quickly and, after an inspection, recommended that the flashing be replaced in one area of the roof. I was impressed that Paul kept in constant email contact through the contracting and scheduling process, answering all my questions. The crew was professional and skilled and completed the work in one day and did a terrific job. After the work was completed, Paul even followed up after a rainstorm to make sure no water had leaked into the house. None did. It was a very positive experience and I highly recommend this company. The crew was obviously very experienced and was very meticulous about their work. The crew chief kept me informed of their progress, any issues they found and how they were addressed. They did an excellent job cleaning up the entire site before leaving. Within a couple of hours of my initial contact I had a date for a visit to review the project and provide an estimate. I received the estimate later that day by email and was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable quote and timing was only two weeks and that it would be a two day job. The crew arrived exactly two weeks later and at the end of the first day all of the original roof was stripped and 80% of the installation of the underlayment, shingles and trim was complete. They finished on day two, and after they finished the entire crew did a site walk around looking for anything they had missed.
