Asked me about "things on the ground" they needed to be careful of when shovelng snow off the roof. We did discuss what to do with the huge piles of heavy wet snow now on the ground in certain areas (like by front door). I decided not to pay to have MN 1st choice move that snow and do it myself. HARD, long work. I was fortunate to have a neighbor with a tractor and a front plow come over. We shoveled and plowed to move the snow far from where it could cause water damage as it melted."

In one day, they had the railroad ties out! They did careful work so as to minimize damage to our lawn and our neighbor's lawn.

Very easy to work with and responsive when anything changed (even the small things). Since I'm not well versed in landscaping, hardscaping or retaining walls, it was nice to have someone walk me through the process, beginning to end. 
All in all, we met with several top rated landscapers found on Angie's List, and ACT was by far the best overall. Their prices, quality of work and materials used can't be beat. Trust me, I've looked around. 
Would love to use them for another project in the future, but I know it won't be the retaining wall, which is here to stay!!

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
