"In response to a request for someone to repair my Weber gas grill thru Angi’s list, I was contacted by Plano Masonry and Chimney. I was told they mainly do fireplaces and do not provide this service but recommended Jeffrey. Jeffrey contacted me within 30 min, on the Saturday afternoon before Memorial Day! A couple hours later, the grill was fixed and the brats were cooking! The owner of Plano Masonry and Chimney was awesome, going out of his way to help us. Jeffrey communicated his ETA, kept me informed throughout the repair process, which was quick and successful. He was very personable and we felt comfortable having him in our home. It was reassuring to know there are people willing to go out of their way to help, especially on a holiday weekend! Because of them, we celebrated on Memorial Day the way we had hoped."

"He came and discussed the work. We agreed on $800 and I paid immediately with a credit card, although he wasn't ready to do the job yet. A few days later, an employee came in and did the work. We had agreed that he would photograph the the top of the chimney to show me, but he never did or responded to my subsequent requests. I don't even know what he did because the top is not visible from the ground. On windy days, the metallic noise is unbearable, so I contacted him again by text, but he never acknowledge my request. The noise continues. I don't remember the date of the work."

"Both he and his wife (who handled scheduling over the phone) were very nice and extremely helpful.  When I initially called to schedule an appointment, she told me to first test the level of buildup inside the chimney to see if we really needed to get the service, and exactly how to do that.  None of the providers I called to get quotes from suggested this, they were only too happy to take our money.  So I hung up, and did the test with flat-head screwdriver, then called back to schedule the work.  The prices were on a par if not a little better than the other places I had called--paired with their helpfulness and willingness to possibly forego an additional source of income if we didn't actually need them, I was happy to give them my business. <br /> When he came to do the cleaning, he was prompt, very thorough, spread protective sheets all around the fireplace so no soot got on anything in the room, and even told us what the main causes of creosote buildup tend to be (placing wet wood on a fire instead of dry).  My husband and I were very pleased with the service, and plan on using them again. <br />"

"Needed the top several rows of brick on my fireplace replaced and a vent cap added.  Master Services was recommended to me by a roofing contractor and I contacted them through Angie's List.  Got a response indicating that my town was not too far from them and they would be happy to help.  They supplied a phone number for me to call the office to make an appointment.  I called the office and but after being put on hold the office person came back on the line and told me I am out of their service area.  I told her that I received an Angie's list response indicating they could help and she responded that they would have to correct that. <br /> I wanted to rate them a C but Angie's Lst wouldn't let me. <br />"
