"After reading several reviews about different paving companies in the Seacoast area, I decided to choose AWB & Sons Paving. My instincts were correct, because they did a beautiful job installing a new asphalt driveway for my home. Justin and his crew were prompt, professional, very reasonable and finished just before I got home for the day. It honestly gave my property the upgrade it deserved. I even got compliments from my neighbors as they drove by. If you want to give your property the transformation it deserves, don’t hesitate to call AWB & Sons Paving Company!"

"We contacted several asphalt companies for estimates, and when Richard arrived for the estimate to remove our existing driveway and install a new one; We were confident that A Plus Paving was the right Company to hire. Richard and His Crew accomplished every task stated in the estimate in a Timely and Professional manner. The cost was very reasonable. We will hire A Plus back next year to install a Seal Coating on our new driveway. We Highly Recommend A Plus Paving for Your Residential or Commercial needs. Sincerely, Mark R., Haverhill, MA"

"J. came and gave me a fair estimate. He did come back when there was no rain in the forecast and did a nice job filling in my cracks and sealcoating my driveway. I would recommend them. Other vendors I called did not even call me back or show up for an estimate."

"The man who came to give the estimate was the son of the owner. He was on time for the appointment and very friendly and gave us a detailed assessment of what had to be done and how it would be done. He also assured us his father would be on site for the whole job. We chose this company as we were impressed with their knowledge of the job to be done and their professionalism from start to finish. On the day of installation, they arrived about 8:00 a.m. And we're done by 1:00. We couldn't be happier with the job they did and I would recommend them to anyone who asks! <br />"

"Richard and his crew arrived around noon, and quickly went to work ripping up the old asphalt driveway, removing the old asphalt, prepping the driveway for new asphalt, with leveling, new sand and stones, and then laying down new asphalt. They were very careful in their work, working around the existing brickwork on one side of the driveway and the grass (with a sprinkler system) along the other side of the driveway. When all was prepped, they then put down the new asphalt driveway, doing a great job on it, and completing all of the work by about 5 PM. All of the crew were very professional, and performed their respective jobs very well. Overall we were very pleased with the job they provided, and would highly recommend them! <br />"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Epping, NH

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
