He was in frequent contact with us prior to the installation to answer any questions that we might have and to keep us informed of the progress of the company constructing the windows. When it was installation day, Wes called us to confirm his arrival time and showed up on time to start the work. It was very obvious from the start that Wes and his helper were experienced and could adjust to any unexpected issues. The work came out better than expected! The windows look great and the care and workmanship Wes and his helper put into the job was obvious. The windows were installed plumb and square and tightly sealed. "I REALLY liked the salesperson that we bought it from. HE was excellent. When there was a glitch with our siding order, he came back out to check things out. HOWEVER, the guy who put up our siding was not real particular. He cut off our gutters when they were to be removed and re-hung. I AM pleased that the company replaced them without any hassle. The siding was over hanging the gables. It wasn't until we said something that he fixed it. That was the overall problem. Unless we caught a problem, it would have remained. While it might be our house itself, the siding installment is not what I'd consider "A". I don't think that I should be the one pointing out mistakes and getting them fixed. I think that they should have just been fixed. I'm glad that the guy was nice. But the end result was not installed like we had pictured."

"It went very well. The owner came out, explained everything in detail. He was not pushy, explained his product and left the decision to us. He was very good about answering questions. He knew his product and knew what we needed. When he came out he already he knew what we could use for our condo. He was very honest about how long we would want to stay there and what we could use or need. He was not pushing any product. He answered all questions we had and had other material in his truck he could show up. He was able to come out when we had time available. We mentioned a comment we had seen on Angies List and he addressed those concerns and explained why it would not be a problem for us. It was a very good experience dealing with him. They come out and measures the window, then they have the guy that is going to install them measure again and introduces themselves so you know who they will be. We had another quote that was slightly lower but the quality of the window is better. He is up front and let you know the windows are made to fit."

"Hired NorthStarr Builders LLC to refinish a deck that was built in 1977. NorthStarr Owner, Marty Johnson helped us think through whether to replace with a composite material, or sand and refinish existing deck. Ultimately, he recommended replacement of existing surface with a newly introduced product - a cedar-toned treated yellow pine that looks beautiful and fit best within our budget. NorthStarr also stripped and refinished a bench/trellis section of the existing deck to match the new deck material. I appreciated that Marty was a very responsive communicator all through the project and worked with us to address some glitches that inevitably come with a large project like this. In my estimation, the measure of a good company not only regards their workmanship, quality and responsive communications but how they resolve issues.
