"I can think of no other construction firm that I’ve had a better experience with than Gibson Roofing. And I’ve seen a LOT. From the first minute talking with Steve there was an air of calm professionalism and knowledge that I came to rely on. In my case it wasn’t clear that a re-roof was necessary. Steve, in an attempt to help make it through one more winter, and without charge, applied sealant around some questionable venting that was not correctly installed 19 years ago. Later we talked at length about better options, and the more I learned about the capabilities of his firm and the quality of Owens Corning roofing materials it was clear that Gibson Roofing is exceptional and I would be well served to utilize their skills. A very competitive same day estimate complete with specifications and a detailed roof drawing framed the proposal nicely. Steve was able to fit the job into my narrow time frame late in this season, and I am very thankful for that. His highly skilled crew descended on my house and had the job done in a couple of days, and it looks great! It kind of freaked out my cats but they’ll get over it. "Giron Roofing: We just had a new roof put on (1/7/2021) by Giron Roofing and they did an excellent job! They sent a whole team of roofers out and stripped off two layers of old roof, inspected and replaced plywood as needed, covered it with waterproof membrane, and installed 40 year Malarkey Roofing products that are designed to withstand the wind. We opted for extra nailing and the 130 mph wind warranty. They did this all in one day and did finishing touches and final inspection (extra sealing around all new vents) in a couple hours on the second day!! All this and they had the best price of the 3 companies we got estimates from! We were nervous going into getting this done but I have to say we are so relieved that we went with Giron Roofing!!! "Jon and his crew came highly recommended from our friends and neighbors, and they are the best contractors I've ever worked with. We have had an extremely difficult leaking issue with our roof, which multiple companies have attempted to fix. When the leak came back during Portland's sudden monsoon rains, Jon dropped everything and came out to do a quick patch. When that didn't work, he came back two days later with a co-worker, on zero lead, to find the leaks and do a full reshingling. The two cheerily worked into the early dark to fix the roof that day. His rates are by far the best we've seen, and he's just naturally a gregarious guy and an obvious good person who will do whatever it takes for his customers. That's the kind of contractor I want on my side and I cannot recommend him enough."

C & C has repaired roofs on short notice and been very straightforward about condition/ replacement need. They even advised us to hold off on replacement after a leak, as repairs would be good for several years more. They are responsive to calls and clean up after the work was excellent. When full replacement was necessary, the work was done as scheduled and the estimated cost was fully explained and accurate."
