He’s consistently followed up on all work to ensure it’s done right, and when things aren’t quite perfect, he takes the time during his own follow-ups to either correct the issue or bring it up ASAP so it can be corrected before it causes further delays. He’s even come out to do the work himself to make sure it’s absolute quality, correct work. I’ll be continuing to call him for future projects."

"Their assessment of our issue felt pretty comprehensive and their price to Fix It seemed pretty fair for what they offered. They were efficient in their timeline without feeling overly pushy about making a sale or anything and they have offered us a very solid warranty, especially important given the problem we needed to help with is one we first thought we mitigated last year. Honestly will have to see if there's still any leaking going on, since that's just the way Portland is, but as of yesterday, at least on the initial stuff everything was completed in a manner that seemed comprehensive and effective."

"Ricardo Gallegos responded quickly to my request to bid on a low slope PVC membrane roof repair. His bid was reasonable and clear, better than several other companies. The Job: My roof was installed incorrectly around the chimney by the original installer which caused the decking underneath to rot out. Ricardo repaired the roof in September 2025 and I am writing this review in December 2025 after several very rainy days and am happy to say the job is holding up very well! It was a very pleasant experience working with Ricardo and United Construction, I highly recommend them!"

"I just had Elm Construction Services replace the roof on our new home. I have to say, I’m really impressed. We went with asphalt shingles and they look beautiful! What I loved most was how professional everyone was. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and actually cleaned up better than I expected - you’d never know they were even here. They were also super patient with all my questions (and I had a lot!). The quality of their work is top-notch. You can tell they really care about doing things right, not just getting it done quickly. My neighbors have even commented on how great the roof looks. "Jon and his crew came highly recommended from our friends and neighbors, and they are the best contractors I've ever worked with. We have had an extremely difficult leaking issue with our roof, which multiple companies have attempted to fix. When the leak came back during Portland's sudden monsoon rains, Jon dropped everything and came out to do a quick patch. When that didn't work, he came back two days later with a co-worker, on zero lead, to find the leaks and do a full reshingling. The two cheerily worked into the early dark to fix the roof that day. His rates are by far the best we've seen, and he's just naturally a gregarious guy and an obvious good person who will do whatever it takes for his customers. That's the kind of contractor I want on my side and I cannot recommend him enough."
