He did a great job explaining why the current sump pump was insufficient and what improvements should be made. He also walked around the exterior of the house to inspect it for any signs of foundation issues, and he spotted a tiny crack in the brick that was hard to see--that's how thorough he was!  He explained what we should be concerned about and what was due to normal aging.

When he finished his inspection, he set up a mobile office with a laptop and printer on the kitchen counter.  He was able to complete the report on the spot and provided the hard copy of his report before he left.

"I had OBA install outdoor french drains and new downspouts a couple of years before they waterproofed my basement. They were the only company I could find who did it all. Basement waterproofing included removing old, putting in new: full inside perimeter drainage, enlarge sump pit, 2 sump pumps, I-beams and carbon fiber straps. Added in brand new: battery backup for sump and vapor barrier on most affected wall. When my basement got wet a year later after the work was done, they didn't hesitate to schedule someone to inspect. If was heavy condensation, barely a thin puddle compared to 2 inches of flowing water. They had to rework a 6 ft section and add cement around the I-beams, each on their own call outs. They didn't charge because I have a lifetime warranty, transferable to the next owner. I'll be working with them again soon for a professional level dehumidifier."

"Don't let the name fool you: Mr. Damer does much more than excavation. I'm a single mom and I have an older house that's not a fixer-upper but has come up on generational updates/maintenance. I'm on a budget and can pay, but not pay twice if it's done wrong. Mr. Damer cut down and removed a very large dead tree in my yard and clear about 30 x 8' of dense shrubbery, then regraded and seeded it, and finally chainlink fenced it increasing immensely, the utility of my yard for the kids. As a USMC veteran Mr. Damer is disciplined and efficient and respectful of a family environment - a throwback to an older generation. "Very expensive service... I was charged 210 dollars for 5-minute reprogramming of my new ecobee4 thermostat. I requested a technician to come to check my Air conditioner as my electric bill was higher compared to the last year.. he found nothing wrong with the system. I suggested to him that it might be the newly installed ecobee4 thermostat. He checked the wiring was good. He found out that it's set up to auxiliary heat as primary and reprogrammed it and charged me 210 dollars without letting me know it will be that expensive prior to the reprogramming... Imagine, 5-minute setup of the thermostat and they charge you 210 dollars.. I will never recommend them to anyone"
