While I understand that accidents happen during construction, what bothered us most was the lack of accountability. None of these issues were addressed until we specifically called them back out to deal with them. John never showed up for a single walkthrough, and to our surprise, the entire job was done by a different company altogether — not his own crew. That was something we hadn't anticipated, and unfortunately, we didn’t think to confirm it beforehand again our fault. The windows installed were low quality and very off-brand compared to what we expected. We had also discussed having decorative grills/grid lines in the windows, which were completely left out. In the end, while everything listed in the contract was technically delivered, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The workmanship felt sloppy, communication was almost nonexistent, and the lack of oversight from the owner was disappointing. We definitely feel we overpaid for what we received. It’s partly on us for not being more proactive during the process, but someone who takes pride in their business would have at least done one final inspection or walkthrough."
