"Trevor and Jeff were extremely efficient and hard workers. One of the log splitters malfunctioned on the first day, and they still completed as much as they could on the first day, and completed the job on the second day, no extra travel fee etc... Everything was left perfect and I didn't have to do a thing. I would definitely hire them again in the future if we take down more trees."

"Everything went extremely well. Wayne and his team were very professional. They removed one tree that was hanging over my home and also one that was at my curb line. While doing that they also replaced the already broken concrete. They were there for two days and when they left you would have never known that we just had trees removed. I have recommended and had a friend use this company. I will continue to recommend them."

"Josh and his crew did an exceptional job. I hired him to remove 9 trees in my yard to clear way for a pool installation. Additionally they removed approximately 300' of chain link fence. They were timely in starting the work. Arrived at the time we agreed to. The crew was respectful and friendly. They did a great job cleaning up after their work was complete. I have already asked Josh for a quote for some additional work I would like to have done now and will definitely be using in the future. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have tree work done at an excellent price!"

"Removed a tree on the side of my house that would hit it when the wind would blow and chip shingles off of my new roof, also trimmed some other trees that were chipping the shingles as well. They were great! Cleaned up everything as well as walked the job with me when finished. I will definitely be using them again as there are some more trees that I will need removed in the future, and I will also recommend them to my clients for any tree work as I am a realtor and work with a lot of foreclosed homes. Thanks!"

"Estimate for the time to complete the job was accurate. Two crew members showed up on schedule (the day following when the estimates for cost & time completion were provided). Workmen were pleasant, diligent & skilled. The price was in the mid-range for the work needed. I am happy with how our powder room looks now that 3 sections of drywall that was removed was replaced, room painted, subfloor replaced, new tiles & vanity, towel bars installed."

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Deerfield-street, NJ

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
