"They did a very good job on the counters with exception of a splice in the bath counter that was not supposed to be there and to make matters worse they chose a piece that we specifically chose NOT to use. I now leave a towel on that area so that we don't have to look at it. Owner did give me a reduction in cost, but... Their tile man quit the day before our tile was to be installed. We had to find our own otherwise our long project would have taken 2-4 weeks more. The communication was poor when there was any kind of a question or challenge. Office would not return calls or was very defensive. We had a second project and chose another fabricator."

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"We recently purchased and moved into a sixty-year-old house. Although it had been kept in good repair, some large windows facing our patio were badly damaged by a buildup of scale from sprinkler overspray. After several attempts at removing the scale, I decided to see if I could find someone able to remove the water spots. As I read through the postings for window cleaners, I came across a review describing the exact service I needed. I phoned the number of Angie's List and talked with the owner, Russell Harper, and made an appointment for a few days later. <br /> Mr Harper looked at the windows and was confident he could restore them. After he cleaned a sample, it was obvious to me that he would indeed be able to remove the scale. He had time to do the job and had the necessary equipment with him so we hired him immediately. Mr. Harper worked carefully and it was very gratifying to see what a difference his efforts made. The glass truly looked like it had been newly installed. When he finished each of the windows was crystal clear. After finishing, he made sure the whole area was clean before he left. As he left, he reminded me that I could call on him if I saw something he missed. I have not seen any missed areas and still am very impressed with the difference in my windows. <br />"
