"Came out to check for hollow spots under basement floor, after sewer rooter guy said to do so. Pleasant knowledgeable and honest. He said we didn't need the work due to what was happening to our floor was not serious.He also looked at our steps but they are too damaged to mudjack and he just said they needed eventual replacement."

"The process went quickly with detail showed in every step of the process. We asked and hoped that the raising would not cause the opposite end of the sidewalk to be raised above the point where it meets the driveway. There was no guarantee it would be that way, but they worked hard to make it level and safe.  For the sidewalk to be raised 2", we didn't want a stumble step to be created and be 2" above the driveway. They were able to raise it and leave a pitch so the water would drain properly and both ends of the sidewalk were right on. <br /> This process creates an huge mess. They cleaned everything and even filled the part of the garden next to the sidewalk with some black dirt. They were prepared to handle everything and make it right. <br />"

After our first appointment, he gave me a very detailed, itemized estimate of the work he recommended to fully waterproof my basement (sidewalk and french drain on one side, regrading the other). In total it was more than I wanted to spend right now, so I opted for just the sidewalk. He was able to schedule the work fairly quickly. His crew was prompt, professional, and fast. They did the demo and had the framing up in less than a full day, and poured the concrete the following morning and were done by lunch. It looks fantastic and is keeping that side of my basement dry. "Very well. The company has been around for 60 years and it's a seasoned, likeable, salty crew that really knows their craft. The owner stopped by and completed a bid which was substantially less than 3 others. It was a tricky job requiring supports, adhering to specs from a structural engineer and lightweight concrete. They completed the job in a timely fashion as promised. Randy is an owner who is straightforward and you're not dealing with a polished salesperson. If you want to be stroked he's not a great fit but if you want quality work at a very reasonable price I highly recommend Norsk."
