"Eric came in and discussed the problem then set to work. He cleaned out the backed up sewage then worked on cleaning out the line with his power snake. When he couldn't get the snake down further he brought in his camera to do a visual inspection and explained as he went. He got it all flowing though. He also went above and beyond initially by helping locate and access the clean out trap. He was on time, professional, pleasant, answered questions and cleaned up after himself. He charged me the standard sewer cleaning fee even though it took him a bit longer to confirm that the issue was resolved. I was very impressed and happy with the experience."

"They inserted their drain reaming device and it went in an unexpected direction.  They explained that this was a drain that had been installed incorrectly, so that it would drain into the master floor drain.  However there was almost no drop between the spare drain and the master drain, so water could not flow.  I didn't know about the existence of the master drain, because it was hidden under the washing machine.   We decided that I should rely on the master drain and not use the spare drain.  They gave me a small discount.  Throughout, they were courteous, professional, and explained things clearly.  This is my second experience with Stoi's and I recommend them highly. <br />"

"We had a sewer back up on a Friday morning. I called around 9am and arranged for someone to come out at 3pm the same day. Scott showed up at about 310pm. He did two runs of 115 feet and cleared tree roots. I gave me advice regarding a new cover for my access pipe. It took about 1 1/2 hours. Very well done."

"He came out to help me with the water heater.  I have used him earlier to upgrade some plumbing in the basement.  He is wonderful, dependable and I like having good hands.  He is very clean and when he leaves everything is in great shape, he knows what he is doing, he is very knowledgeable and I will use him in the future since I have some projects for him.  He does a great job, he is reliable and he is great.  Price wise I have had other plumbers and I find him to be reasonable.  He is not the cheapest but I am getting quality work."

"Wouldn't you know it, a snow/ice storm occurred overnight and the morning the technician was scheduled! His commute was hours longer, but he made it and videoed sewer lines at 6 residences, The technician was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He was willing to answer any questions and all were well satisfied with his services. "<p>I originally got a quote last fall about putting drainage in. Explained my situation and Mitch stated this is what needed to be done to resolve my issues. I wanted until this Spring to do it as all the rain we have had my issues were becoming more bothersome. I was very satisfied with the installation of the drain tile. Aaron came on site very professional. Told me what he was going to do it and how it would help. "I could not have asked for a better experience than I had with Midstate. From the beginning of the process of getting estimates and finding the "right" company to go with to install a furnace, humidifier, and tankless water heater, Midstate stood out. It was important to me to use a smaller company. I like supporting smaller businesses. I don't like using big companies, where you are just a number, and if problems arise the company doesn't care and the company won't stand behind its product or its work. (That is my own past personal experience talking). I wanted my business appreciated because spending thousands of dollars is a big deal to me. Also, I was reassured because it was clear that Midstate had been in the business for a while and would continue to be in the business in the future. Most importantly, when I looked over the Angie's List reviews, it was clear that customer service and satisfaction were important to the company. When I put feelers out to various companies I researched on Angie's List to get estimates, Midstate contacted me first, worked with my schedule, and came very quickly. Eric was the rep who worked with us. He showed up on time. He spent over an hour with me explaining all of my options. He was very considerate and patient. Never made me feel dumb with any questions. Didn't talk down to the "little woman." Was very respectful. Never tried to push me to one choice or another. Just gave me all of the information I needed to make an informed decision. He was personable and talking to him did not feel like he was trying to make a sale. After getting other estimates, I liked Midstate the best. Midstate worked with me on pricing when the other estimates I received came in lower. I am very grateful for that. It would have been hard giving someone else my business when I felt less confident in the others, but money is money. Anyway, they were able to very quickly get to me. On the day of the scheduled install, one of the technicians was in a car accident on the way to my house(luckily, he was okay!). Instead of rescheduling, Midstate worked things around to send another technician to me so as not to inconvenience me. I was blown away by that dedication to service. Pat and another gentlemen (I'm sorry, I cannot remember his name) came to do do the install of the furnace. They were very careful about not making a mess. They were also very nice, very personable. Pat kept me informed throughout the process of what they were doing, how the job was going. Eric came when he finished another job to assist with the tankless water heater installation. They all stayed late to get the job done and did excellent work. They cleaned up after themselves so well. When it was discovered that a part was missing (it had been with the driver who had been in an accident), they were apologetic (there was no need to be). Soon after, Eric came by another day (that worked best for my schedule) to install the missing part. Pat and Eric were both wonderful and patient in taking me through my new furnace, humidifier, and tankless water heater and educating me on what I need to do with them. Whenever I called Eric throughout this process, he promptly responded to me. Obviously, spending a chunk of money on a furnace, humidifier, and a tankless water heater is a bit daunting, but it was very reassuring working with Midstate and seeing Midstate's commitment to customer satisfaction.
