I must say this decision for solar has been the best investment in my home i have ever made. Sunlux reps took us through the whole process from estimating our generating needs (we have 2 ev cars, 2 A/C units and outdoor entertainment) to mapping out our panels to give us maximum sun exposure, to setting up and registering our panels with the electric company. Garrett, the customer service manager, responded to our questions and calls promptly and kept us informed during the whole process. He introduced us to the app that can monitor our daily, monthly and cumulative generating at the touch of our iPhones 24/7. We are now generating more electricity than we use and this will allow us expand our electricity needs in the future. The monthly cost of our solar loan is significantly less than our previous electrical bill and in several years we will be saving hundreds of dollars monthly. We are very pleased with our purchase and with Sunlux."

"This is a 20 year lease to own system. Verengo provided the information for the contract, contacted and coordinated work permits with city and our HOA, installed on time and no hidden costs. Our cost is an annual amount, divided monthly and adjusted to the actual amount of generated power we use. The formula is complicated and bothe Verengo and Sunrun need to work on their presentation information. It is was not completely clear to us that we would have two bills; one from California Edison and as well as Sunrun. Our total bill when averaged over the first couple of years has gone down, but we will not see a true reduction until the lease is off. So essentially should we sell the property, the new owners will save. We are making an investment in the property, as well as using solar to the extent we do. 
We would have rather had a complete system that eliminated the second bill from Edison, this would make it simpler. Of course, Sunrun will say that they will lock in your rate the recharge you for the power generated at a much lower rate than Edison, but they cannot do so for the first two tiers of the bill. Seems like they should wrap their heads around finding away. It is too complicated the way they currently run it.
We are happy with solar and hope doing our part to save the planet in a small way. That said, it could be a much easier process.

"A pleasant experience from start to finish. The quoting process was a good two-way discussion, and cordial - no pushy salesman telling you how bad Company X or Y was. Just honest, factual, and straightforward. They quoted us a system with the panels, racking, and inverter which we wanted, not what they were pushing. The quote wasn't the best (hence the 'B' for price) but it did offer the best VALUE when we considered the equipment specification and the stability of the company - an important consideration when looking at a system with a 25 year life! The installation was scheduled by our coordinator, Sherry, and the team showed up when promised and got the job completed on time. Quality of workmanship was first rate and the entire installation was done with care, and tidied away before the team left. Permitting and PG&E inspection were all handled by Sherry, and that was also quick and flawless. Overall, the system they installed easily meets their projections in terms of performance, and it effectively pays for itself. We really couldn't be more pleased with NRG Clean Power and have recommended them to friends and neighbors. We'd recommend you give them your consideration if your looking for solar power."

"Where do I begin. River Sun Solutions was amazing start to finish. Their employees are the hardest working individuals I have seen in a long time. The biggest thing for me was their communication, they said they will be there at a certain time they were there a few minutes early. They did not dilly dally one bit, there crew knocked out a 39 panel install, ran all the electrical in the attic, and setup storage batteries in the garage on what the news stated was the hottest day of the year at 118 degrees outside not to mention the temp in the attic. The attention to detail on their work was next level, I have never seen a company be this thorough. When the install was complete they double checked everything after working hours on hours, they went through everything checking the panels on the roof, the electrical panel, the batteries in the garage, cleaned up their mess and left it cleaner than they found it. The best part was the owner himself stopped by several times to check in."
