"Tom Mackey, the general manager, came to do my estimate and was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the services I was interested in: blown in insulation of exterior walls and he suggested insulating the area between joists(?) of exterior walls in the basement. He answered all of my questions, did not rush or pressure me into services I didn?t want or need. He was upfront, trustworthy and I felt confident in choosing DANA Insulation for my needs. The staff who came to do the work were also very professional, timely and truthful when they realized that my home already had insulation in exterior walls. The basement insulation was completed and in that time a manager/ supervisor called me to explain the new total for the work actually done. Korrine was also very helpful in getting my rebate information processed in a timely manner. I highly recommend DANA Insulation for any energy/ cost saving work your home may need."

"Another contractor had moved things around so much, that it botched my previously scheduled insulation appointment with another insulation company. In a panic, I reached out and was properly given an estimate work completed within days. They arrived earlier than first estimated and that was more than welcome. Handled with care and our property was protected and insulated with care."

"We had them do blown insulation in are attic a year ago and it made a big difference with helping keep the heat in the house so we had them come back and spray foam are wall to help be more energy efficient can already tell difference with the house being cooler. Had great customer service, also they clean up after them selfs and very good about making sure customers are satisfied with the job they have done. Would recommend to family and friends"

"I bought a home in Madison Heights in 2012. It was built in 1959. I didnâ t know until recently why it was cold in certain area of my house. I was referred by a friend/contractor to Tom with Dana Insulation. Tom came out on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. He said there are a few places where heat is lost. The attic, basement (where the top wall meets the house called the shoulder. Tom went up in my attic and said there was decent insulation but it should have more. While he was there he recommended a few roof vents due to air circulation problems. (I had no soffit vents). He then noticed my bathroom exhaust fan only vented into the attic but not out of the house. He said moisture will be an issue. He also told me what I already knew which was these older homes have â Zeroâ absolutely â Noâ insulation inside any of my (4)outside walls. I was emailed my quote in a very timely manner and the price was reasonable. They also told me I could get special financing via â Michigan Saves.â I got my financing approved and it was very easy. Long story (sorry) is the crew came out as well as Steve. Steve who was in charge is a very humble, knowledgeable, personable and amazingly honest human. The crew did a job on my house that turned not only amazed my girlfriend and I but exceeded my expectations. My cold back bedroom rooms are no longer cold after filling the gaps with blown in insulation. The temperature is steady and even. Itâ s amazing how much of a difference insulation literally (on every level) of my house made. Itâ s a smaller home but I love it and plan on staying here forever. When the job was done, Steve came out so I could sign off. He said â Now you can have your home back.â That stuck with me because he really cared and treated this home like it was his own. As soon as Steve left I contacted Sam who is the owner. I let him know how happy I was. Sam was so personable that we talked for awhile as well. I will absolutely recommend Dana Insulation to anyone and everyone. I knew it would help but had no clue I would notice this much of a difference."

"From start to finish Alex and his team were courteous and timely. The removal of the attic fan and laundry chute was done neatly without causing damage to the drywall and plaster. After the team boarded those areas up the insulation was blown in. The insulation has decreased our energy bills and increased the comfort of our home. I would highly recommend Alex and his team!"

"We have used Retrofoam twice on two houses in the past five years. They were very professional and timely. They have come out a few times since the one house was insulated to check for gaps or leaks. And, explained or added a little foam. Very good company, and I'd recommend them for spray foam insulation in Michigan."

"Blown-in insulation: Owner always kept me well informed and was prompt to respond to quote request and questions. Explained why he was proposing to do what he did, and when a little more effort was required than originally quoted the cost didnâ  t increase. Solid, honest businessman who Iâ  d definitely hire again."

"Very prompt, professional and efficient. They took the time to go through the steps of the service and answered all my questions. There’s a noticeable difference in temperature and we’ve already seen a drop in our electric bill. Would definitely recommend!"

"Please don’t hesitate to hire this company. Everyone from the salesman to the workers who installed the insulation were fantastic. Very friendly, and hard working. Excellent value for the price."

"Does not do the type of foam insulation that I need done."
