"Our experience with Geno's Siding & Roofing Co. was great. Geno responded promptly, and scheduled a visit to look the job over. We had leaks around the windows in our laundry room. Geno advised the windows were fine, which we were glad to hear. He said he could remove the trim, and then install new aluminum casing around the windows. He also said he could install an aluminum sill sloped away from the windows. Russell (the technician) did a fantastic job. The result was better than I imagined it would look. We will definitely be contacting Geno when we need more work done."

In addition, he re-shingled a damaged porch roof, taking care to match the unusual color of the surrounding roof. His estimates were firm and reasonable. They also were able to complete the replacement on a tight schedule (for which we are so grateful!) and in the color we wanted, despite limited productions due to the pandemic. We have a multi-level, steep Tudor roof, and they had to remove old shingles and cedar shakes, so I know this was a complex project, and they did a great job. "From initial review for estimate, Adam was superb in educating me and answering all of my questions. More importantly, treated me with utmost respect as a woman engaging this project. I was sold on Universal being a certified CertainTeed product installer. It is a superior product than what is sold in general big box stores such as Home Depot. Day of 2 layers of old shingles removal, inspector Abe showed me the sins of others. The base wood was circa 1938, and needed to go. Not unexpected however they worked with me to arrange a loan to support the extra work estimate. As well my chimney was sadly in need of professional pointing beyond the shoddy patch jobs done by prior owners. I was assigned a project manager Ben, that kept all the work moving at pace as outlined. The workers were all responsible and respectful of me and my plants and property. Jim was timely in terms of providing an estimate and very thorough in explaining options.  He was not pushing for any particular scope of the project, specific shingle supplier, nor attempting to upsell extras.  He was happy to supply color samples, advice, and flexibility on when to do actual work.  From a price point of view he was significantly lower than 2 other quotes, and since he is a one crew operation seems to be able to undercut others who have lots of layers of management adding cost.  At the same time, he is fully certified by GAF so is able to provide a full mfg warranty that is even transferable, so if he is not available many years in the future, you still have a mfg warranty to fall back on.

The project was done over 3 days which was in the range of what was expected, and each day the entire site was cleaned up of building materials, nails, etc.   Good care was taken to not significantly damage the flowers/shrubs.   His crew was very hard working, continuing to work into the evening as daylight allowed.  I would recommend to others seeking high quality roofing at a reasonable price.
