"Found Destre on Angi after another contractor came out and completely botched the job. Wanted to replace the weather stripping around rear patio door. The previous contractor ruined the bottom seal on the door and left us with a/c escaping and the flys and mosquitoes coming in. Called and spoke to Destre and he came out within an hour. Surveyed the damage and was off to Home Depot to get replacement parts. Could not find but resourcefully found a clear plastic one. Installed and all has been fine ever since. In speaking with Destre learned his experience in all types of home repair. The thing I liked best is he commented “I will not stop working until the job is completed to your satisfaction”. I paid his quoted price and added a generous tip for his diligence and great attitude. I have finally found my home repairman."

"My girlfriend called while I was at work and said that there was a drainage back up that was flooding the floor in our downstairs bathroom. I immediately called Burnett and Son who had recently did some unrelated work on my water heater. They immediately came out to my place and started work on the overflowing drain. They stayed from 4 PM until 2 AM and came back the next day and got everything completely repaired. I was stressing about what the bill could possibly be but I can say that it was very reasonable compared to the amount of time and work they put in and getting the job done. Once again, they have shown me that they are not like most contractors. They answer the call, they return your phone calls, they show up on time, they did not mess up the house, while doing repairs and their professionalism was way above board. I will definitely hire these people again for their honesty, communication, and professionalism. "I had previous leaks and was ready for a new roof. I called Weatherguard and Jonathan came to my house with more information than any one person should have.  He explained every step in detail. I felt comfortable talking with him and knew if I had any questions I could call and get answers.  The crew was professional, cleaned up every evening before leaving for the day and finished earlier than expected.  My neighbors were very impressed with the roof and did not know it was metal (I got the cedar shake) until the sign was placed in the yard. "I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"I called late on a Friday afternoon after my air went out. They came after hours, installed the new unit, and took the old one for evaluation & possible repair. A year later I called them back for another ac problem (different unit), and they came same day. Whereas another contractor told me to junk the unit, Greg replaced a small part & all was well. While with me the second trip, I mentioned several other small jobs, and they got right on them! The vent hood took a trip into the attic and up onto the roof, but they figured out the problem and solved it. This hood was damaged during Katrina (12 years ago) & Ive had several companies out to look/repair and nobody was able to diagnose problem. Now I have my hood back! Repaired two ceiling fans that I'd been told to junk, repaired a pendant light wired incorrectly by another contractor, and even replaced some light bulbs in my 12-foot ceiling-ed rooms! Excellent service, very fair pricing, good responsiveness, and just all-around nicefolks. I HIGHLY recommend!"

"Two guys performed the work.  They cleaned the chimney flue and inspected the chimney crown and the inside of the fireplace inside the house.  They provided an estimate for repairs to the crown.  We did not have them perform the repairs because we thought the cost was high at that time.
