"They were recommended to me by a family member who's friend had a positive experience with them.  At first they seemed great as I was dealing directly with the owners.  They said this would be a perk and gave me the impression that I would be dealing directly with them for the whole engagement.  However, soon after we signed the contract and the work was scheduled we got shuffled off to the background with everyone else and had a difficult time getting accurate and timely replies to our questions. <br /> It seemed the work was poorly orchestrated as the gutter people didn't know what the roof people were doing and when.  I had to take days off from work to make appointments and to be there while the work was being performed.  Several times the work was rescheduled without even so much as a phone call to me.  Basically I was sitting there waiting for people to show up and they never did.  Had to call the main office to dig into what was going on several times.  I basically felt like I had to be the project manager for the whole engagement; something I didn't have the time for. <br /> Though the work seemed to be of good quality when it finally got done, we weren't warned that the force of impact from all the tools they were using would knock items off our walls.  Also, our garage was filled with wood and other debris from how they installed the roof over it.  It was a good thing we didn't have cars in there.  They said they would pick up all the nails around the house when they were done with special magnets.  For weeks I was finding roof nails on the perimeter of my property that were just sitting there in the open.  Had a magnet come anywhere near such a nail it would have picked it up. <br /> This was a very stressful time for my family and me and having to constantly follow up on what and when things would be done was a real chore.  Cleanup was not great and I had to personally cleanup quite a bit afterwards which was not what I had in mind nor what I was sold.  Their back office employees seemed incompetent. <br />"

For a job that I was prepared to take all day, they were in and out of here in a matter of hours. They even took time to indulge my disabled son. Took time to answer even his questions. Not everyone does that.  All four were very polite and exceptional to deal with. The whole time being respectful of our home. What a joyful and pleasant surprise. Right down to a fabulous job on even the clean up. Above and beyond, I would say. <br />  The change from our old windows was immediate and phenomenal! "We first hired Brad to complete a patio that someone else had begun. That led into doing another patio with beautiful stairs connecting them. He redesigned our fence configuration in the back yard so that we have more back yard, plus built it 8 feet tall to keep the deer out of the yard. Then we talked about the floors in our home; eight rooms had old carpet or linoleum and we wanted to switch to ceramic tile. Brad learned how to lay tile, even bringing in a professional tile-layer from Utah who is a good friend, and helping us pick out what type of tile to use and what patterns to use in each room. Next was the garage project, which Brad designed and built himself. He then built us a chicken house which he designed, based on his experience raising his own chickens (and sold us some starter hens and a rooster). The patios are bordered by low walls made of beer/pop cans covered with stucco; they are free-form and very organic looking. The bathtub project came about because we discovered mold behind the wall around the tub; he and a carpenter friend removed the tub and designed a shower stall, maximizing the space available. He even custom-made the shower pan. The last projects he did were the raised beds, the outdoor kitchen, and the final patio that replaced the old front porch (also with low walls). Brad is an artist in his work; he did the design work on most of these projects, but would work with us and LISTEN to us express our ideas of what we wanted. He is very personable and friendly, easy going, and fun to have around!. We have personally recommended him to friends and acquaintances in the area; his work speaks for itself.
