He quickly found the septic tanks, three of them, and discovered one had a cracked riser cover. The cracked cover was not his fault and most likely mine for parking on it before I knew where they were located. <br /> He replaced the cover with a new one and pumped the tanks and of course covered them back up. <br /> Given the equipment he needed to locate and access the tanks, the new cover and pumping the tanks I thought the price was quite reasonable. The next time I called, they answered and took very good care of us, so we're inclined to overlook the first failure to respond. <br /> The dispatcher promised to send a technician immediately, and did just that, even though it was late enough in the day that I expected to have to wait until the next day. The plumber who showed up was friendly and professional. He got the valve replaced very quickly and provided us with additional information about a possible future project.
