"This company is very easy to work with. A few years ago we had them put in walkway lighting. They offered to come in and set it up so that we could see how it would look and then they would come back and install more or differently depending on how we felt. I actually thought I wanted more lights but they told me I didn't need it. I appreciate they tried to keep the costs down. We've called them back recently to change the motion light on the back of our house. We already had a fixture there so they just needed to put in something different (~$250). Everything I was seeing at Home Depot got poor reviews and I was sick of changing lightbulbs. Daniel responded to my emails in a timely manner and always answered the phone when I called. But also, we were a few minutes late getting to the house and he was in the front fixing the lights (repositioning b/c we'd had landscaping done) they had installed a few years ago!! I was impressed with this."

"It was time to replace as well as add landscape lighting. Within a day of finding Outdoor Lighting Solutions, Jeremy called me back to set up an estimate. He was VERY knowledgeable and helpful, explaining that because I was switching to LEDs I actually needed fewer lights than I currently had. We also wanted to add lighting around the patio. Jeremy said we'd need fewer lights than we thought and suggested two uplights to accent trees....we would never have thought of that. He offered to "demo" the lighting for our review, but we trusted his judgment. Jeremy and his crew were polite and did a neat job. The job was completed in hours. He then offered to come back and adjust or move any lights we might want change. After living with the lights for a few months, it was apparent that Jeremy knew what worked best. "The entire experience with Josh Dunn and his team went extremely well. I had another contractor over to look at the space, and his estimate was 30k, he really had no good ideas for what to do with the originally awkward layout, and he advised that I should move my two kids (ages 1 and 4) out of the upstairs during the remodel. Josh walked in and immediately envisioned what to do with the space and came in with a lower estimate. He and Mike worked meticulously, controlled dust, and cleaned up every afternoon before they left. They did any and all sawing and tile-cutting outside. My baby took naps in the basement, but both my kids slept at night in their own beds in their rooms, and I never worried about dust. Josh and Mike are polite and professional, keep you informed of the process, and are also very good at what they do. No drywall seam is visible, no tile is crooked, and the paint job is extremely clean. Our remodel was extensive enough that we needed city (Richmond Heights) permits, and that required that separate electricians and plumbers do that work and that everything (electrical, plumbing, building) be inspected two times. All of that slowed things down, but Josh and Mike communicated so well and kept everything so neat that I had no complaints. They also subcontracted out to workers who were as nice and professional as they are. I will have Dunn Home Improvements do any home remodeling project, large or small, that arises in the future."

"He came to my house, but never actually delivered the design. He asked for 2-3 wks. I gave him about 4 wks. I tried to contact him to follow up, but I did not hear from him. I have received a refund from Angie's List. He told me they were doing (maybe paving?) when we first met, and he's trying to do landscape design? It was only $39. When I first contacted the rating was A, and it was B when I last looked. Maybe it's a case of trying to do too much, or needing to narrow the scope of work. You can know/do a little about everything, or something about a little....not both."
