Any question or concern was immediately addressed. Even on weekends! WHO does that?! Our install date was right on schedule! The crew of installers were expert, hard working and polite. When our bay window roof portions proved tricky, Mike decided to bring in a specialty team to complete that part of the installation. The roof & new skylight look great! This company cared for our home and property as if it were their own. Not a single hitch-- not a single negative. How often does that happen?! WOW!"

"The crew was punctual, professional, courteous and always working - no fooling around on the job.  They arrived at 7:00 a.m. and began their work immediately, and left in the afternoon around 4 or 5:00 p.m.  This was a large job and this 4 man crew completed it in 6 days of steady work.  They cleaned the area every day before they left for the day.  I have not found any stray nails or debris.  These guys are professional and possess the skills needed for a quality job.  I can only praise them. <br />"

"Overall the roof install went well.  Due to a scheduling conflict the install was done while I was not at home, and 9/10ths of the installation went as planned. <br /> <br /> Due to a miscommunication, the ridge vent was not installed at the time of replacement.  However, R Max Construction was incredibly responsive to this oversight.  The right vent was installed the very next day, and Roberto personally oversaw its completion.  A credit was even given on the total cost of the project for the mistake.   <br /> <br /> At the end of the day, it was R Max Construction's response to the mistake that really set them apart from other contractors.  Their cooperation and accountability are top notch."

"All work was done professionally and on schedule. The cathedral ceiling no longer "leaks". A small leak occurred in 2017. Burns & Scalo inspected the roof and repaired some damaged shingles and sealed a pipe flange. Both repairs were in a section of roof not part of the original project. They charged $220 for two men to come out and spend about an hour."

"Zeke provided the best quote to re-roof my home. The workman arrived early the morning of the day they were scheduled which was in January and immediately started to work. Zeke and his crew had the roof done by 6 pm the same day. They thoroughly cleaned up all the debris from the tear off and install. There was an extra charge for removing double layer of shingles on the porch roof, but otherwise the cost was as quoted. The roof looks great!"

"I cannot say enough good things about Knox's Construction. We reached out to Knox's Construction because our house roof was leaking where an extension had been added to cover our deck. We wanted to have the extension removed and the leaking roof repaired. Chaz came out to look at the work and informed us that he would be able to stop the leaking but keep the roof extension. He also explained to us exactly what had been done wrong on it the first time to cause the leaks and that this would save us a lot of money compared to the demo & repair job we requested. I truly believe that Knox’s Construction could have made these repairs, but due to other smaller issues and personal preferences we decided to go the demo & repair route. From the very start Knox’s Construction had great communication, everything was explained clearly and up front. We were given a cost estimate, but as with any job there was the possibility that if something is uncovered in the demo the price could change. Where Chaz was different, is that he explained exactly what it was that he was concerned might come up and how it would be handled if it did. There was no opened ended “the price may change depending on what happens” that other contractors give. There were no surprises during the entire process because everything was discussed and explained up front. There was a significant amount of rain around the time the work was to be done so we were understandably delayed. However, we were never left wondering, anytime there was a chance of a rain delay or anything else Chaz would contact us, if it was a long delay he would schedule a follow up call where he would call us closer when a judgement could be made. Every time we got off the phone we knew exactly what to expect and had all of our questions answered. Once the weather cooperated enough that the work could begin, it was over almost before it began. I have never seen a crew work so quickly yet never sacrificing quality. The attention to detail the crew showed was astounding including the effort Chaz went through to make sure the replaced shingles matched perfectly. Most contractor’s I’ve worked with in the past would have said black is black and moved on. Chaz worked with us to determine the exact manufacturer and shade, truly demonstrating the quality of the work he does, as well as the pride he takes in his work. When the work was done, and the Knox’s Construction crew left, it looked like no one had even been there. They were extremely conscientious of our property and cleaned up extremely well. We are beyond pleased with the work that was done and will not hesitate to use Knox’s Construction again in the future."

"I called Nicolella last minute after having called 6 other contractors for a quote. I was referred to them by a friend of mine. They raved about how well the took care of their roof. Anyway, Mark talked to me for 30 minutes on the project and the way his company does business. He said he would quote me after he came out and walked on the roof and looked things over. He was the first and only contractor to do that. He took pictures of the roof and discussed what was needed. I received the quote promptly. He wasn't the cheapest and was in the midst of most of the other quotes I received. We went with him because of the referral and the 25 year gaf warranty they could offer because they are a MASTER ELITE GAF installer. Because of an opening in their schedule due to a cancellation, they were able to come out within 1 week of signing the contract. They were literally on site working for 5 hours on our 1100 square foot home. They started at 8 am and was gone by 1 pm. The job was completed extremely quickly and appears to be very well done. It's been a week since the install on 6/6/2017, if I have anything to add to this review later, I will update it. 1/14/18 No leaks no further problems! Very good job. Would definitely hire again!"
