"Excellent. I called for emergency help as my plumber said furnace shut down was due to block in flue. It was cold and I needed flue fixed asap to be able to get heat back on. Boston sweeps had no available appointments, but switched me to their emergency service consideration and came out same day for $150 "mercy service extra fee. That seemed fair to me as they - and others - were booking into January. They did an excellent clean out (man in bsmt/man on roof) and made strong recommendation to reline chimney, replace cap to avoid future blockages. I trust their recommendation as a several years back a chimney sweep said we would soon need to reline. They sent me an estimate by next day. It was pricey, but I think it is because it's a 3 story house. the estimates I saw online were significantly lower, but they were national and did not specify height of chimney. All in all, very solid work and can't argue (much) with the estimate."

The chimney sweep showed up a few minutes early and conducted a thorough inspection of the chimney,  flues, and furnace smoke pipe. Installed 3 flu extensions & a locktop damper & a smokeguard & swept both fireplace smoke chambers & shelves. 2nd Chimney-oil replaced liner to boiler, new cement crown and cap. Applied water repellant to both chimneys. Work crew showed up on time, was very professional and kept me informed of their progress. Layed down drop cloths fr doorway to chimney. Cleaned up & removed all debris. Answered all my questions & gave us a 5% discount for both jobs and used 2 coupons fr website.
