"We chose Mata Paving solely on their reputation on Angie's List before getting an estimate on the job. Their estimator took time to go over all the details and options unlike the other estimates we got that were based on a cursory look at the driveway. It so happened that Mata's estimate was also the lowest. On the day of the Belgian block installation Carlos, the owner, spent at least an hour with us going over measurements and the final design layout. By the end of the day his guys had done a great job exactly as laid out and had totally cleaned up the work site. A week or so later they were back and Carlos oversaw and worked on the installation of the asphalt driveway. The completed job is perfect and exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended."

"Overall we are extremely pleased with the outcome of the project. Although there was a long delay in starting the project due to weather conditions, once things got going they were honest, punctual, professional and the results are amazing. Ken worked with us the entire time on everything from the design (which we changed a few times) to the colors we eventually chose. The patio has a border that is a different color than the rest of the patio which requires 2 pourings. On the first attempt to pour the border, Ken did not like how it was coming out because the batch of concrete they received was not mixed properly. He called me to inform me of this (we were not home while they were working) and told me they were going to rip it all out and re-pour with a fresh batch. In my opinion, this shows their honesty and integrity. Everyone who sees the finished area remarks how great it looks. We couldn't be happier with how it all turned out."

"We cannot recommend the talented folks at MC Home Improvements enough. We were adding a deck to the house and the original contractor (friend of a relative) abandoned the job midway. Called MCHI and Eric came over that day to assess the situation. They completed my neighbors deck after SS Sandy and did a great job. Should've started with them. Eric reviewed our our plans, pointed out a few things missed by the original contractor and made some suggestions that we were happy to incorporated into the finished product. He kept us informed at each turn, always returned our calls promptly and answered our questions patiently. MCHI workers were respectful, neat and friendly; they took pride in their work. "We wanted to replace existing blacktop driveway , concrete patio , concrete rear walkway with pavers, and at the same time , run roof drains underground away from our house. I should note that I've spent over 40 years in the construction field and my father was a general contractor , so I have some knowledge of this kind of work. We contacted quite a few contractors for estimates on our project. None of them inspired much confidence in their ability to handle the job properly , and in a timely manner. When we spoke to Robert , owner of Driveway Contractor LLC., we were impressed with his knowledge , experience , and advice . Robert started the job when stated and was on the job site often , overseeing the work. Throughout the project he advised us of all that was happening.
