"Anthony was very responsive, from the beginning. He and his crew got the work done quickly and did an excellent job; the pillars on my stone wall and their caps look brand new. They were also very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them."

"We had a very long retaining wall installed. They removed the old rock wall. The work was done carefully and safely. The finished project is beautiful. I highly recommend Southern Grove Landscaping. I tried to include before and after pic. "

"They made my ugly duckling yard into a beautiful swan. They worked hard getting out rocks and dead plants. They came up with a beautiful arrangement of perennials. They did everything with excellence. They put concrete under the border wall. They broke up an old concrete patio and repoured it correctly with good stones and rebar. It all looks so beautiful and was done with integrity. They were very polite."

"Juan and his crew were extremely professional. I was very happy with their services. I live in NYC and my house is in Columbus so he sent me pictures of everything he was doing (before and after). I wish I would have used Juan’s Landscaping services throughout the years to maintain my house. I would definitely recommend him. The house looks fantastic now and he made the deck and fence look brand new and ready to sell. If you have an old deck or an old fence, it can look brand new with a good power washing. I had the house for 12 years without knowing this so I just lived with an older looking fence. I wish I would have had them power wash it sooner. Added before, during, and after pictures but there were too many to put them all up. Wish I had one of the front of the house but the house was pretty dirty and now it shines. Thanks Juan!"

"Very smooth install. Ed was nice, personable, and timely. He installed the solar lights efficiently and correctly. And they function perfectly. Fee was very reasonable as well. He’s agreed to install similar lights next weekend at our daughter’s home located about 10 minutes away. We’re in the market for a new handyman, so would not hesitate to contact Ed again. Thank you."

Small jobs welcome

"The project(s); The front of the house; Driveway for a three-car attached garage, front walkway, front steps. The rear of the house; 16-foot apron coming out from the rear 3rd car garage door, included retaining walls on both sides. Also, included stone fascia to match the front of the house. Hot tub pad (14' X14") in front of my walk out basement door and underneath my screened in back porch. A base for the screened in back porch stairway and walkway from the base to the hot tub pad. The hot tub pad had a metal grounding grid, grounding wire and conduit installed for the future hot tub. Please note- I was granted a permit from the county a few days after I submitted the permit application with pictures of the prep work, metal grounding grid, grounding wire and conduit installed. A three-foot retaining wall next to the hot tub pad, complete with stone fascia and cap stones to match the front of the house. The retaining wall was to eliminate any erosion from the grade next to the hot tub pad. In addition, the retaining wall provides seating next to the hot tub. We were having a house built and the builder's concrete contractor was far behind on their jobs. I looked to Home Advisor for a replacement concrete contractor. Ohio Grounds keeping had good reviews and did concrete work. At first, I was skeptical because, after all, they were a landscaping company. I worked with Steve, the estimator from Ohio Grounds Keeping and my builder's construction manager, to assess the multiple jobs I had in front and back of the house. The construction manager advised me that Steve, really knew what he was talking about. The three of us developed a plan for the concrete work and when it was to be started. A rain delay caused the work to commence a week after it was originally supposed to start. Again, I was skeptical that the work was going to be completed in a timely manner. It was a Wednesday, and nothing was happening except some lumber was dropped off for the forms. The concrete pour was supposed to be scheduled for Friday at 3:00pm. Thursday evening a small army showed up and began the prep work. The progress they made was impressive! I was in constant communication via text message with Steve, and he listened to all my concerns and addressed them. Steve said they would be back first thing in the morning to finish the prep work. As promised, 19 workers arrived and worked very hard on a hot and humid 94 degrees day. There was a crew on each part of the concrete project and the concrete prep was thorough. At 2;50pm on Friday, the first concrete truck rolled up. The pour started at 3:00pm. The attention to detail was excellent. The finish work was excellent.I would highly recommend Steve and Ohio Grounds Keeping, to handle your concrete projects."
