"I hired Jon and his father based on reviews I read on online and let me tell you these guys are beyond amazing. The customer service, the quality of work, the time frame and the pricing were beyond exception. We had our back patio done with pavers and loved their work that we had several other jobs. 2 walkways, retaining wall, veneer stone on our entry and AND they removed all of our sliding and stucco our ranch home. We now have a California style home in CT. Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!!! They were on time each day (and we are an hour away from them) and at the end of the day they cleaned their belongings for the following day. Never left any messes. We had some little add ons and changes throughout the projects and Jon and his father made those changes without any issues. He had a handful of questions along the way as he came across minor issues (how the last row of blocks would lay out, things like that), and was attentive and careful around a shallow electrical conduit underneath the patio. "An absolutely fantastic job by Ermir and his father in law, work team on the install of our patio, fire pit and stone wall. I went out for quote to four separate contractors for the job of extending my patio, instal/construction of a new fire pit and the new installation of a raised patio with stone wall for my new hot tub. The first 3 contractors literally spent no more than 20 minutes with me, gave me a quote and left. All standard type work - nothing out of the ordinary. Ermir was the last contractor that I met with. He spent over two hours with me going over the job, providing ideas and examples of his work and options that I did not even think of. That was the deciding factor in choosing him. Once the work started I was absolutely amazed at how hard they worked every day in 90 deg plus heat and the level of perfection that they put into the work. I was so intrigued by their skill that I could not stop watching his father in law while he was building our stone wall. I would go back to Ermir hands down for any future work. The out come of their work , is a beautiful , well made stone wall with a matching cap . They use the best Cambridge blocks. "Hired Design and Build to install some belgian blocks as an edging for my driveway, specifically to help direct water run off, and eliminate a problem I was having. The two young men arrived on time, and did an excellent job figuring out what would be the best way to solve the problem. They carefully cut the edge of the driveway, dug out a trench, placed mortar, installed the blocks, and cemented in place. They also addressed other possible issues contributing to run off. They took their time and did a beautiful job aesthetically, and cleaned up everything in a very meticulous manner. I have not been having problems with run off since, and am very pleased with the work done. I would also mention that the workers were very well mannered and hard working, and the price was very fair."

"Leonard expertly repaired my slate walks and patio that had lifted and settled over time. The process included power washing the stones, laying and leveling fresh stone dust, then replacing the stone -- including replacing those that had broken.
