"A neighbor and I had agreed to do new fencing for our properties in Grandview Heights (just west of downtown Columbus). We called Skip @ Elite Fence and he worked with us on a consolidated labor contract to come in lower than any competitors bid. Yet, he was still willing to split the invoices out for each of us to pay independently. Great, right?!

Then, Skip and his crew at Elite Fence got to work. After two days on the project, the quality and caring was apparent. It was so apparent that two different neighbors ended up contacting Skip about doing their properties as well. "He is good at iron work which he does. He is not good at telling you what he is not good at like aluminum work. Eventually, we had to get the columns redone.  We paid  Smartworks a downpayment for the mirror work  project which we decided not to go forward with.  We did not ask for  did not ask for repayment nor did we receive any.  He was a nice guy. He was good at wrought iron and he should have told me that he wasn't familiar with rolled aluminum work.  The seam imperfections were intolerable and I couldn't seem to convey that we needed a better standard of work.  Mac Worthington, the renowned Columbus artist ended up completing the job."
