For deeper cleaning, lightly dampen a soft cloth with a mild cleaning solution appropriate for your beadboard material. Avoid excessive moisture, particularly with wood or MDF installations. Painted beadboard may require occasional touch-ups or repainting every 5-7 years, while stained wood might need resealing periodically to maintain its protective finish.
