"My pressure treated deck needed replacement. I got 3 bids which I was considering but was told by a friend to check out Remodel or Renew. Mike Christopher, the Owner, came and asked me what was the main thing I was concerned about. I told him that I was looking for quality workmanship with top of the line Trex composite wood that wouldnâ  t require a lot of maintenance. He sat down with his IPad and designed exactly what I wanted. The design he made was like an actual picture of the finished product and the price was great which included the removal and disposal of the former deck. This is the first time Iâ  ve EVER reviewed a business that has done work on our home. They deserve it! First, their builders worked long hours and I observed them as they made sure every step was done with precise measurements and the finished product showed just what I observed. Unbelievably sturdy, they didnâ  t cut corners to save time and it was absolutely beautiful. Also what I consider a huge factor is the Warranties on the work and material. A 25 year Warranty that covers scratching and fading of the Trex flooring and railings. UNBELIEVABLE! Lastly, they left the work area cleaner than before they started and Mike the Owner answered my calls or texts every time I had a question either immediately or responded within 15 minutes. All I can say about Remodel or Renew is if you give them a chance to bid on your project you will be happy and even happier if you hire them and see for yourself what I have just told you! "Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me."

"3 Son’s Siding & Gutters LLC did my roof about four months ago.They came and gave me a price that was more than fair…3 Son’s were very professional,work very safely.They stripped two layers, found that they had to get plywood and replace the whole roof, it was a bit more but they did the plywood, re-shingled the roof in the one day.i was very impressed with the way all the workers did what needed to be done. The job was done in a day and a half,all the mess was picked up went around the house with magnets picking up all the nails.All I can say I believe they are very professional, very concerned about how my property was left I think it was cleaner than when they started.Very good crew did a great job couldn’t be any happier. She also followed up by email to see if we had any questions and was very transparent on the extra cost of having to replace some of the decking. "The workmanship was quick, careful, & highly professional. However, communication issues arose prior to the final installation which troubled us. We found a message on our phone message mid-day prior to the scheduled installation from someone who identified himself as the installer that they wanted to come earlier than scheduled, but the number for call-back was unintelligible, I called Yankee & left a message that they should tell the installers to come any time that day but a later call from"the installer" told us that they couldn't do the work that day as scheduled because of an urgent family illness. When we called Yankee again, the Installation Manager offered to reschedule for the following week (not workable for us) or, though they normally don't do Saturday jobs, they would do so, & reiterated that an urgent personal issue was the reason for the delay. Though extremely inconvenient for us, we accepted that as the better alternative. The installers arrived on time on Saturday morning, worked with impressive efficiency, and were extremely polite & friendly. What surprised us was that they said that they could have completed the work as scheduled the day before & knew nothing about the phone calls we had received. These evident communication issues troubled us, but not the quality of the work. Time will tell whether the windows are as great as they appear & continue to function effectively over the long haul. Another strong positive: because of the inconvenience, they provided us with a $100 gift certificate to our favorite local restaurant. Overall, they provided excellent service & what appears to be an excellent product. However, their sales pitch stressed service & communication &, while better than some, lapses in quick availability of customer service & inconsistencies in communications led us to rate them extremely highly but less than perfect. We'd certainly strongly consider using them again for a different job but they didn't live up to the extra-high level of prompt, individual, personal service stressed in our initial meeting with their sales representative."
